I recently dined at Harbour House, and I have to say, the experience was extremely disappointing, largely due to the poor service. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that attentive hospitality was not on the menu. To start, we weren’t even offered drinks upon arrival. Instead, we sat there waiting, only to be ignored for several minutes. When no one came, we eventually went up to get our own drinks and menus — something that should never happen in a restaurant at this price point. It didn’t get any better from there. Throughout the evening, the staff seemed indifferent and inattentive, which made the entire dining experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. At a place that charges more than £50 as a service charge, I would have expected prompt, professional service at the very least. Instead, we were left feeling like an afterthought. For the kind of prices they’re asking, this level of service is simply unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated and completely unimpressed. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

The restaurant is beautiful. The front of house team were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was great quality. But it was really expensive. And, two of us on our table asked if we could replace the chips that came with our meal with salad. The kitchen said no. We had to have the chips and order a salad separately. So, overall, an enjoyable evening, but not value for money.

We went to Harbour House for lunch for my birthday. We had starters and bar meals(which were basically starters), and all though the food was ok(it was lacking something to make it wow), I just found it very expensive for what we had. We regularly dine at places like Kota, Tartan fox, Paul Ainsworth and all of which are similar cost but the food at Harbour House just doesnt compair.

Staff team were so helpful and friendly despite being very busy and short staffed, they went above and beyond. Flushing is a charming spot, though parking was difficult! Trivial persute cards were a fun touch while we waited. The mushroom arinchini was delicious and all elements went together beautifully. The Pollock was beautifully cooked and the sauce was full of flavour, yummy.... I didn't really feel the charred gem added anything though if I'm honest! Best chips of the holiday too.

Absolutely the best Sunday roast. The beef was sublime, the veg was delicious, service excellent. Overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

A wonderful Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and a delight to watch it being prepared in the open kitchen by chefs who were obviously enjoying their art. Wonderful front of house team, full of smiles and happy to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. We will be back for more and are also looking forward to ‘Quiz Nights’ through the darker months. Well done team … you were great ! Keep it up and thanks 😊
