Absolutely the best Sunday roast. The beef was sublime, the veg was delicious, service excellent. Overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

A wonderful Sunday lunch. Fantastic food and a delight to watch it being prepared in the open kitchen by chefs who were obviously enjoying their art. Wonderful front of house team, full of smiles and happy to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. We will be back for more and are also looking forward to ‘Quiz Nights’ through the darker months. Well done team … you were great ! Keep it up and thanks 😊

Incredible evening views by the river, fantastic staff and the food was fresh and seasoned so well.

Lovely meal - excellent food and really friendly service. When we arrived the music was really quite loud and it made conversation very tricky - we asked for a quieter table but as they were all really the same , the manager very kindly turned the music down to a more comfortable level - really considerate

The food was excellent, interesting and a little different. Mainly seemed to use local produce which was good. The food is relatively expensive so not great value for money but the quality of the dishes was excellent. The restaurant was busy and we were disappointed to have to wait for our table for 20 minutes when were taking walk ins rather than keeping our booking on time. We had to wait 10 minutes at the bar to get a drink and our table was free all this time so little disappointed with the service

Used the Guide Michelin app to find a nice local restaurant whilst on holiday. We booked here and were met with beautifully presented food in an informal setting with views across the river to Falmouth. Gorgeous! We loved the quirky touches such as the trivia cards on the table and the general decor throughout. The bar snacks menu looked as fantastically tasty as the main food menu, which could be eaten at the outdoor benches to the front and the entertainment that evening added to the brilliant atmosphere. Our only criticism was the evident understaffing. I don’t know the reasons for this and it perhaps isn’t the case all of the time. We did see a man who seemed to be the shift manager snapping at 2 members of staff at different times, who were clearly working hard already. Maybe having a bad day? but it made the situation temporarily uncomfortable for the customer. The other staff members quickly smoothing things over. Hopefully this is resolved! All in all a fantastic place to eat.
