Located at Four Embarcadero Center, Harborview Restaurant & Bar serves quintessential Cantonese Cuisine and traditional yet innovative dim sum and banquet menus, with impeccable service in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. With a main dining room seating more than 200, Harborview also features a full bar, patio, private dining and special event space. Harborview is a combination of traditional Cantonese classics and our own original recipes, using the finest ingredients.

    We were a party of four sitting outside and felt our table was not visited. Multiple times we had to flag somebody down in order to order more food. Never experienced that having dim sum in San Francisco as locals. We probably wouldn't go back.

    We ordered a set menu with about 10 items, reservation at 6:15 p.m., did not receive five items until after 8:00 p.m. half of the party were kids and had to leave early because of bedtime, this is completely ruined the dining experience. The kids were not able to eat half of what was served including the fried rice and sea bass. Most of us were already full or done with eating by the time half of the menu was served so late. It was a total waste.

    Went with a friend from out of town and had a reservation for the balcony. The food was great, service a bit brusque and there was a minor error on the check. It got fixed, and all was fine in the end.

    Nice upscale place for dimsum. There was a 65th birthday party that took up most of the tables. Best dish we ordered was the Special Harborview beef.

    Food is decent service is abruptplace ia so loud you can’t even have a conversation with your guests This is supposed to be Michelin star rates…I think not

    Generic experience. Nothing was seasoned. The atmosphere was uninspired. The service was spotty as I had to ask for the rest of my meal and more water, which they never brought.

    Recently visited and we had a gorgeous Friday Dim Sum lunch on the patio. I always request/ask to sit in Gene's section and as always he provided excellent service. We ordered for the table: chicken feet w/black bean sauce, shrimp dumpling (har gow), sis mai (shrimp and pork dumpling), salt and pepper chicken wings, salt and pepper spareribs, Shanghai Pork Dumplings, Chicken Pot Stickers, Vegetables wrapped w/bean curd skin, Honey Garlic Chicken, Haborview Beef, Beef Rice Noodle Roll, Seafood Garlic Noodle and Beef Chow Fun w/gravy. All food items were delivered hot to the table and were all delicious. This is one of my regular dining spots in San Francisco!

    I don’t normally write reviews, but I was so disappointed with the food here. Normally, it is delicious and fresh. It was mediocre at best last night
