Welcome to Harbor Lights! For over 50 years we have been a staple in the Tacoma community. A rustic atmosphere that sits on the shore of Commencement Bay with scenic views providing the quintessential Northwest dining experience. Harbor Lights joined the Anthony's family on April 29th, 2000 after being the dream of Anton Barcott, an immigrant from Yugoslavia. On January 26, 1959 Anton opened Harbor Lights among the lumber mills and shipyards along the waterfront. We are well known for serving large portions of seafood such as the two pound bucket of steamed clams and have a loyal following of wonderful guests!

The view was amazing! The lobster, crab and artichoke dip was incredible!! Our drinks were delicious- highly recommend the Key Lime martini and any of the huckleberry desserts!!

Excellent food and service. Try the huckleberry icecream! Yum! Took friends from Florida who stated "best seafood they have ever had!"

We have lived here for over 70 years so we have a long knowledge of local restaurants and bars. The Harbor Lights has maintained a high point in dining and drink through those years. A favorite among waterfront workers to court house denizens. I mentioned to Andy the manager, that there was a time when restaurants and bars were community, and The Harbor Lights successfully carries that tradition forward. Even though it is currently owned by a corporation with multiple locations, to their wisdom and our appreciation they've left The Harbor Lights to function as a continuation of that excellence from the past. With generous servings from the kitchen and the bar, the ambiance is intimate similar to a large gathering of family, cousins, aunts, and uncles who given the time would get around to introducing themselves to everyone again. This restaurant is well removed from the Howard Johnsons sameness of so many chain restaurants. From the time you are greeted at the front desk until the thank you’s are exchanged when leaving, the feeling is completely one of happiness for everyone’s continued success. The wait staff and kitchen personnel bring the two ends together with a very memorable meal. We’ve stayed away too long, now it is at the top of our go-to restaurants again.

I ordered the salad special and the server dropped off a salmon dish and ran away before I could tell him that isn’t what I ordered. He didn’t return until I decided to just eat what he brought me rather than waiting another 30 mins for him to come back and check on us. He didn’t even stay long enough for us to answer the question “is everything ok?” . I had brought family from out of town and it was a bit disappointing in service.

Peach Cobbler is amazing! Cod fish and fries are decent; however, portion size is a little small. Chowder tastes more like bean soup. A little bland.

The mussels were excellent while the Cioppino was good, but not great. The Captain’s Platter was very good. I would definitely go here again.

Greeting was friendly and exceptional. Seating was immediate, server arrived promptly and friendly. Food came quickly and was excellent. Best view in Tacoma.

Great service. Food and drinks were good. I had trout although I didn’t care for the rice pilaf as it was sweet versus savory.
