Welcome to Harbor Lights! For over 50 years we have been a staple in the Tacoma community. A rustic atmosphere that sits on the shore of Commencement Bay with scenic views providing the quintessential Northwest dining experience. Harbor Lights joined the Anthony's family on April 29th, 2000 after being the dream of Anton Barcott, an immigrant from Yugoslavia. On January 26, 1959 Anton opened Harbor Lights among the lumber mills and shipyards along the waterfront. We are well known for serving large portions of seafood such as the two pound bucket of steamed clams and have a loyal following of wonderful guests!

This was my first time going to Harbor Lights and I was not disappointed. My table was right by the water and had such a beautiful view. The place was clean and staff was amazing. Very friendly, professional and on top of things. Everyone's food in my party was amazing. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Delicious meal served by an experienced and friendly server. We went early to avoid the dinner rush and were able to enjoy the view and eat our meal at a leisurely pace. Great Alaska Halibut fish and chips.

We enjoyed our meal overall. The $29 three course meal is a good value. That said, our calamari appetizers were quite overcooked, one of our salmon entree’s was also a bit overdone and the green beans on the side seemed old/not fresh. We have previously had excellent dinners and will return in the future.

If you haven’t been before, know that this is an old Tacoma standby, and has an incredible following. Unfortunately, like many restaurants that survived through the pandemic, it has had to make adjustments in order to be profitable. Essentially, for any given entree, they either increased the price or reduced serving size to the point that value is just no longer really there. Food taste and quality was average. The chef could definitely step things up a bit. Overall, go here for the view, don’t expect a whole lot from the food, and expect a minimum of $50 per person.

This is a successful restaurant that KNOWS what to do to create a memorable experience for their guests! Even though the place was absolutely packed and crazy busy they still managed to have excellent service (thanks to our wonderful waitress, Deann.) THE FOOD WAS GREAT. The views were unobstructed WATERFRONT. No wonder they've been in business since 1959. And everyone who worked their seemed HAPPY, unstressed and took time to greet and say goodbye as we were leaving.

Harbor Lights delivered another great dining experience for our party of 7. We all ordered off the Early Menu and fully enjoyed the value.

The crab and artichoke dip was hot and bubbly, the salad was cold dressing tastes homemade, lobster was juicy and sweet, husbands fish and chips Were hot and delicious , the server Carolyn was very attentive, excellent.

It was a lovely evening! It was a very nice surprise that at the table was a wonderful gift certificate for my friend’s birthday- for a free appetizer or dessert! That was thoughtful and she loved it! The view was wonderful and the service was excellent. The bread was lovely. Will be back again!!
