Harbor House is a bright, spacious New England-style seafood restaurant Milwaukee residents and visitors love, set on the shore of Lake Michigan. Our restaurant offers a premier lakefront dining experience and the freshest seafood flown in daily from both coasts. The interior features a three-sided bar, a raw bar, an open kitchen, and a private dining room available for special events and parties. A seasonal outdoor patio features a full bar, Adirondack chairs, and unparalleled views of the lake, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and Milwaukee's skyline.
Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.
It's important to note that patio reservations are for outdoors only and we cannot guarantee indoor seating upon inclement weather.

Join us for an evening with Ridge Vineyards. We are hosting a five course, six wine pairing dinner with a special guest from the winery. We are lucky enough to be able to feature two vinetages of Ridge Monte Bello, one of the most historic wines from California. In 1962, Ridge Vineyards made its first Monte Bello, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since that time, RIDGE has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare and exceptional vineyards where climate, soil, and variety are ideally matched.

Rather poor experience for my wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day. The “special” limited valentines menu selections were, well “limited”. There was little to no substitutions, with mainly all seafood for appetizers. The steak we received was just average and my wife’s was not prepared/done to her liking, again with no substitutions for the sides. I informed the staff it was my wife’s birthday but we wanted our desert to go so they brought out my wife cake with a candle then took it way to be boxed up, I didn’t even touch mine, it looked like blue berry oatmeal with a tiny scoop of ice cream. The service was subpar and not very friendly, intimate, engaging or informative. The lone bright spot was our bar tender I think his name was Cam, he made a very nice drink for my wife. Been to Harbor house a lot over the years my wife and I really like it but will not be back for some time based on the experience, very expensive night for below average food and service. SMH.

My Fiancée and I came here for Valentines dinner. We were taken to a booth, which we were very happy about. We loved the atmosphere! Everyone had a great attitude and very personable! The service was fantastic !! Five stars all the way !

Made a reservation for lunch at least a month ago. Requested a table by a window. Showed up promptly to a half empty restaurant - was first shown to a booth that was unsuitable and then shown to a table directly across from the wait station. I asked about a better table near a window that was away from wait station and was refused it. Poor, poor customer service Honestly most shocking

Oysters were amazing! The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Our table was pretty small but they make it work. It was a pleasant experience!

It was an excellent experience overall! The oysters were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff also went above and beyond to celebrate our occasion. This is a location I will go to again and again.

We were a table of 4 and had a mix of steak, crab legs, and lobster. All done to perfection. The chopped salad was overpriced for the size, but still good. Excellent wine list.
