Le nom « Hapa » provient du terme hawaïen qui décrit un mélange harmonieux de cultures asiatiques et américaines. À l'image de son nom, la nourriture de ce restaurant reflète cette combinaison dynamique. Le menu est basé sur les principes fondamentaux de la cuisine traditionnelle japonaise, qui sont ensuite amplifiés, modifiés ou mélangés à des influences de différents styles de cuisine jusqu'à ce qu'ils se transforment en quelque chose de complètement nouveau : ils sont « Hapa ». Le Hapa a fait éclater les limites de la créativité pour développer des plats qui défient toutes les règles, tout en restant fidèle à ses racines. Everything was excellent and Hapa beer was good and cold! We especially enjoyed the tuna poke and magic mushrooms. It was lovely to sit outside.

Brought me wrong entree. When I asked why the chili sauce was not there, waiter said it didn’t come with it. Then bill came and it was $7.50 more than on the menu. Turns out the complete wrong ahi tuna was brought. When I asked where the chili dipping sauce was, it should have been a huge clue that the wrong dish had been served had the waiter known the menu. They removed it from the bill and I left hungry. It was so loud in there, I could barely hear my friend. Service was extremely slow. Not a great experience and I have dined there many times.

Wonderful to be able sit outside on a nice cool evening. The food was great as usual. Our server was just great. Very attentive and friendly.
