HANDSHAKE BAR spans two levels, each offering a selection of our most iconic cocktails. Both spaces provide a warm, intimate atmosphere. One level is slightly larger to better accommodate guests.

Reservation Duration:
Reservations last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing time to enjoy our cocktails and unique ambiance.

RESERVATION POLICIES:
The maximum number of guests per reservation is six. For groups of five or more, a deposit of $250.00 MXN per additional guest is required, processed via credit card through Open Table.

Multiple reservations and combining tables from different bookings are not allowed. There is a 15-minute grace period; after this time, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not arrive within the grace period.

Andoni’s cocktails were amazing! Attention to every single detail and mixology is next level! Super recommended experience in Mexico City. BRAVO!

Perhaps being #1 is a blessing and a curse. They seat everyone mostly all at once and you can tell the bartenders get hit with a lot of orders. Our biggest problem was finding a server to take our order. A couple came after us and was on cocktail 2 while we were sitting with empty glasses. You could hear a bartender drop a glass. Eventually, servers would ask if we wanted a drink and immediately after another server would have no clue we had already ordered. One time, they tried to serve us drinks we didn't order and when our drinks did arrive, we had to tell them whose was whose. Some of the drinks were really complex and interesting and overall had a sweet base. Overall the service and experience had some misses so I wouldn't run to return and you should consider before having fomo

The host had a very nasty attitude, she was rude and not understanding or accommodating.

The cocktails are great but, that about all. Party of three seated at a low table next to each other rather than facing each other making it difficult to talk and could not even have a glimpse of the bar to watch drinks being made. Though reservation was made for 10:30, upon arrival we had to queue for 25min…earlier we arrived at 9pm to see if we could get in and was told we could stay for only 1 hour…it was the same for the 10:30 reservation as we didn’t get in till near 11. Once in, the service was super slow. The only reason it is not a 1-star review is that the drinks were good.

Everytime I am in CDMX, I have to come to Handshake! It’s a cocktail experience you will never forget. Each drink is made with such attention to detail and the servers are meticulous in explaining how they curate each drink to make your experience feel magical every single time. You HAVE to make a reservation at least a couple weeks before your trip, but, they make it so easy. My favorite drink here is their take on a Piña Colada— it’s a must try! Their mixed nuts are also a treat, and it has made me love crickets— don’t knock it till you try it! I tell everyone about this bar, and highly suggest it to everyone I meet. My new favorite try was their take on a Gimlet— MUY DELISIOSO!!

Cocktails were alright. Definitely not "best in city." Service was good. Music was too loud. Sorry, but I just expected more.

Awesome experience. Exceeded the hype. Staff was incredible, knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks were incredibly crafted, all in all, leading to a fun evening and experience.
