This sushi bar is very unique in the way they present the restaurant. It has a stand alone bar where you can watch the chefs create the sushi you make. Definitely adds for a unique experience when have dinner with a friend/significant other. We ordered the chef’s choice which includes 5 hand rolls that chef decides, one order of crispy rice, one order of wonton tacos, and edamame. The fish is probably the freshest I’ve had in all of salt lake. Definitely high quality ingredients, but the overall taste, while good, didn’t exactly push my experience to the next level. So the food for the price definitely left me desiring more. As for the service, it started off great, had an old fashion which was definitely well made and delicious, but as the restaurant got busier throughout the night, the service for cocktails and other beverages slowed down a bit, though I will admit my water was always full. So props to them for being on top of a busy room. Overall, the food was good and the drinks were delicious, definitely a unique experience for anyone who’s looking to take someone on a date or an intimate time together.

Charming place with a fun, hip vibe. I don’t think hand rolls are really for me, and it’s basically all they have. I don’t love biting into the seaweed. Their nigiri was excellent, though. The service was a little off, but I give some leeway since they just opened. It was an expensive meal, but not totally out of bounds for similar experiences.

Lovely restaurant, highly recommend doing omakase! Drinks were also delicious, loved that they used Japanese spirits as well.

The front told me I needed to request a table (not the bar) and I thought I did it wrong. But when I went to check there is no option to select table or the bar. The bar was lovely but very difficult to have a conversation and my legs dangled. We were so close to the people next to us, she accidentally kept elbowing me. So just a heads up to put in the notes you want a table.

Great experience! I'll definitely be back. The sushi was fresh, service was wonderful & the vibe was exactly what I'd want from a place like this.

Great quality sushi with a different experience than your typical local spot. Loved every bite. Uni and A5 waygu are worth the splurge.
