I had dinner with friends at this restaurant, it was the first time we went there and we were not disappointed. We ordered a variety of dishes: sushi platter, black cod, chicken teriyaki, tempura prawns, tempura squid and a few others, everything was excellent.

Excellent food and good service. One of the best high end value Asian restaurants. Food could be served in any other overpriced Asian fusion restaurant. A little gem.

Small and intimate place, so you would expect good service. Food had no taste at all and the potions are small. The chef was hammering/ cutting something all the time, which was disturbing.

The dishes were well presented and all enjoyed. This appears to be an old school sushi restaurant modified for the local community. Families with children were at an adjacent table and a couple speaking Japanese at the counter which might be called a sushi bar. Decor and dress is as low end as you can get. The menu is interesting - they pressed hard for us to select from the robata selection (which the wait staff called Japanese barbeque) and the few pieces we had were very good. The sushi was outstanding although for some reason our order got lost! We ended up thoroughly enjoying everything and the staff were extremely courteous. The price was a bit higher than we expected given the restaurant decor etc ... but the quality was worth it.

Amazing Birthday Celebration! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hanasaki Japanese Restaurant for my son’s birthday dinner. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was delicious—authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, with staff attentive to every detail and making sure we had a memorable evening. A special thanks to the team for going the extra mile with the decorations, which added a festive touch to the occasion. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality; it made us feel right at home. Thank you again for a wonderful evening! We look forward to returning soon. Best wishes to all!
