    Experience was terrible. The server did not bring us water to the table. We had to get up, go to the bar and order our drinks. She placed the incorrect food order and the chef had to remake our food. The food quality was amazing but the service experience made it all bad. Really disappointed. We were celebrating my father’s birthday.

    Hibachi came quickly sushi was really late coming to table, therefore our party did not eat at the same time.

    Sushi was just OK. Tuna sashimi was frozen in center when served.

    My husband,daughter and I came to the restaurant for the first time celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. I will start by saying the food,chef, and waitress was outstanding! BUT... THE HOSTESS THAT SEATED US WAS RUDE AND HAD A BAD ATTITUDE. When we first came in we were not greeted or welcomed with a smile but a non caring bad attitude! And on top of that, my daughter and I went to the ladies room, and when we came back, our table was taken by three other guest. The hostess did not care and said she would find us another table. I said No we want our original table back. She gave us a nasty look, rolling her eyes while another hostess eventually moved the other guest to another table. This initial experience almost made us leave. Before we left, I spoke to the Manager about the hostess and he apologized and gave us 20% off our meal and took off the cost of drinks. This was a nice gesture but I will always remember the rude and bad attitude hostess.

    This was first time visiting and the service was awesome. From the hostess to the chef who prepared our food they were all exceptional in customer service. I didn’t get any names but I can tell you that I will be visiting again. The ambiance of this place is very pleasant and relaxing. It was definitely worth my money and pleasure to dine at Hanabi Hibachi & Sushi.

    What a disappointment! My daughter moved to Columbia recently and wanted to try Hanabi while we were visiting for her birthday. When I booked the reservation, I made a note that it was a birthday celebration and I mentioned it to our server again after being seated. April, our server, never smiled or even said anything remotely pleasant during the 2 plus hours that we were there. After taking our order, April disappeared and someone else came by and delivered the food. Of the 6 in total people in our party, the birthday guest was the only one who didn't receive her sushi and in fact waited approx 10 to 15 minutes with no food and no explanation. The edamame was very good but everything else we ordered, spring rolls, wontons, and rolls were average at best. We will definitely not be going back and I would definitely advise everyone else to skip it as well.
