Excellent service , very attentive. Atmosphere very relaxed with great music playing in background. Food was seasoned and prepared to perfection

This was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last. The host greeted us with a pleasant smile and guided us to our table wishing us a wonderful dinner. Our server was Elizabeth (Liz) and she was fantastic, giving us excellent recommendations. We started with a great bottle of wine and shared the scallop appetizer with a tasty remoulade sauce on the side. We then had a salad and their creamy potato soup, which was very unique in flavor. My husband ordered the combination plate with filet, chicken, lamb and added shrimp. That came with asparagus, but we also ordered a side of the sautéed green beans with garlic to share - huge portion and delicious! I ordered the center cut filet, adding the herbed butter crust. It was cooked perfectly. They also offer warm French bread with a sea salt butter and an herbed butter to spread. We were too full for dessert, but we did check out that menu and the choices looked great! Excellent, all the way around!

Hamilton Walker's scored high on all points: honored our reservation timely, server (Maya) was lovely and helpful, unique and delicious cocktail (pomegranate sangria) and the whole meal, including the bread was outstanding.

Great classic style steak house everything from the cocktails to the dessert was delicious all five if us had n no issues and enjoyed our time there. Will definitely be back.

My son and I ate at HW's for the first time after an Illinois football game. The food, we both had the 14 oz. ribeye, was very good. Cooked perfectly. My son had the lobster bisque soup and I the house salad with blue cheese crumbles. Both excellent. Along with the steak, I had the crispy potatoes croquettes. Also very good. So, the meals were very good, the ambiance was very good, but what really stood out was the service, outstanding. I couldn't give HW's an outstanding across the board as they aren't quite up to the same standards as a Morton's or The Capital Grille. However, HW's is fine dining and well worth the price.
