Since following the “Post House”, we have been patiently waiting for the next opportunity to bring special friends with us to visit for a dinner. Outstanding! Our guests from Alberta were blown away as were we. Thank you for an amazing evening and experience. Adri & Tim Eastman

Food was excellent ! Beautiful dining room as well. The only improvement I would make is to increase the air temp as it was quite cool, many other tables were going out and coming back with sweaters. We will definitely come back !

I took my daughter and teenage grandsons, along with friends, to a Tasting event -- i hadn't anticipated that's what the evening held, but it was a spectacular experience -- life-changing, my 13-year-old grandson who aspires to a culinary career, tells me. Memorable for sure. Staff graciously accommodated a change in the size of our party, and deftly managed a seafood allergy. Well done all around!

The food was excellent. We went for our anniversary and it was so nice to have a high end dining experience so close to our cottage.

The food is off the charts excellent and the space is lovely - service was good but they could have used one more server - they were busy but still gracious under pressure.

Food was well prepared and delicious. Service was very good. The dining room is small and has great potential for an intimate dining experience. However, on the night we visited there was a 9 person party celebrating someone's birthday. They were having a great time unfortunately at the expense of our and other tables' ability to carry on a conversation. I do not begrudge lively celebrations, but this was not a private dining room reserved solely for the pleasure of these 9 diners. These folks were very loud and seemingly unaware/insensitive to their impact on others. The size of their group also appeared to 'slam' the kitchen and wait staff seriously impairing the timing of our meal. We waited 2 hours to receive our main which was accompanied by an apology for the delay. At that point we had almost lost our appetites. Kudos to the Post House for this venture. We will certainly give them another chance, however we will leave if we see that the dining room is set for a large group. Perhaps large groups could be served in another area, perhaps the adjacent lounge as you enter the building? A restaurant that is described as an 'oasis of calm' (quoted from the review in kabin magazine) could do more to curate this ambiance.

This was our first visit. We will be returning soon and often. Excellent food - four course menu - great variety of choices. Beautiful renovated log cabin Respectable wine list

Beautiful dinning room, beautiful property, views, overall ambience is right out of a luxury cabin resort brochure. Food was ‘outstanding - every plate, every bite made us smile. Short but satisfying wine list. Service was a bit inexperienced but friendly (taking drink orders, table check-in, course timing, knowledge of menu items and ingredients and forgetting a drink order) all things we can look beyond as the food and the decor kept us very happy. Only other comment for improvement was the noise level - voices echo and volume was too loud as well as the music volume - so overall noise level needs to come down about 1/2 - it was actually hard to hear the conversation at my own table. But again, easy to overlook with the amazing food and decor.
