Bus stop is located in Rame which is a 5/10 min walk to The Halfway House. This is all accessible via a well lit footpath. The frequent U4 & L3 (summer season) services call here, These run every hour between Falmouth & Penzance via the university, Helston, Porthleven, Praa Sands & Marazion/St Michael's Mount (U4), & between Truro & Helston (L3)

Carvery was in our apinion poor the choice of meat was very good and tender,but the rest was not hot enough the gravy was also not very hot,very disappointing really considering everything else was good cannot recommend it sorry about that

Food was not good they ran out of chips when there was a supermarket just up the road service was okay it’s a shame because the Halfway house did have a good reputation for food and if you get somebody who cares in then it can be again.

Despite the restaurant being really quiet, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food. When it arrived, my partner was given the wrong order. We queried this with the waitress but she didn't seem too bothered and didn't offer a solution. I had oredrered a vegan meal that was supposed to come with saute potatoes but turned out to be boiled. The salad that came with it consisted of a couple of lettuce leaves and a few slices of radish with a dressing that I don't think was vegan. There also seemed to be butter on the potatoes, again, not vegan.

The waitress was very attentive and had to ask about my son's age which we expected for drinks. She had to get a manager but it wasn't a problem, she explained that she was just 17. She asked if there were any allergies for the food when we ordered. The food arrived quickly and hot. They were very good and asked if the food was ok whilst we were eating. The desserts were amazing and we were also warned about the heat in the skillet

Don’t leave without having pudding! All the food was delicious and staff really friendly. Definitely be back.

Website advertises carvery on Wednesday and Sunday it does not make it clear that is for lunch only. Disappointed my guests chose from the set evening menu. The food was disappointing too.
