Food very good, service lets it down. Ordered cup of coffee which came out half full, when asked for more water was told, coffee had been put in a larger cup. Staff expected finished plates to be handed up the table to them, when they could go around the table. Would try again as local, willing to give another chance.

Parsnips and roast potatoes under cooked, turkey and chicken was so dry, Yorkshire pudding was burnt, gravy tasted funny 3/10.

Booked last minute on the way home from a day out. Looked after by the host. Service prompt, food good, friendly atmosphere.

Great service. Meats were over cooked, not moist, the veg could have been hotter. The extras not worth it. 2.50 for pigs in blanket left it there. Prefer when it was table service.

Very Friendly staff, starter was nice and tasty, main course was really good nice sized portion, bacon and cheese burger & chips. Nice dining experience and good value for money. Would recommend and dine again. Thank you

Soup tepid calamari overcooked order lasagne and that’s all I received no salad or fries pie crust under cooked burger basic drinks good but expensive Overall my family made the evening enjoyable cost of very basic pub grub £193 for 5 guests Realise pubs are struggling but the food served here hasn’t encouraged me to return Sorry I hoped for better from a local eating house

The restaurant was done out beautifully, the staff were so lovely and professional and the food was just amazing. We booked up straight away while we there to have a Sunday carvery. My husband said he has at last found a chef who can cook a steak to perfection.

Warmly welcomed. Our table was ready and as reserved. Cheerful ,helpful non pushy staff. Clean cheery atmosphere. Food was excellent, with good choice of vegetables. The only suggestion and certainly not a complaint, roast potatoes weren’t crunchy. Will certainly be returning and would recommend to friends.
