Our owner, Chef Richard Hales a four generation Tampa family since 1954, is back in his hometown of Tampa after 25 years away mastering Asian cuisine, opening award winning restaurants and appearing on the Food Network; beloved by the likes of Guy Fieri. Our seasonal menu features Asian techniques using the fi nest ingredients and availability of locally sourced produces. Chef Hales’ invites you to experience eclectic ambiance, elevated service and his version of Chinese cuisine.

This is a hidden gem in Tampa- better than the Michelin restaurants by far. Highly recommend!

Absolutely my new favorite restaurant! Been for lunch and dim sum. EVERYTHING is fantastic Waitstaff (Zoe), host, amd bartender (Gabby) all wonderful.

We ended up going earlier for lunch Ryan our bartender was great! Non rushing nice demeanor it was our first time and food was a surprise and delight. We had the tower, crab soup dumplings and fried yuca delish, we will go back!!

I must say my experience was good. Our server was exceptionally pleasant and professional. My martini had pretty good flavor and definitely had a summertime taste. The shrimp dumplings were my favorite of the evening. The chicken was good and the jasmine rice was a nice compliment. It had a little bit of spice and I’m one looking for a lot of spice. I probably should have gone with my other option that sounded spicer. The restaurant looked nothing like I expected as a renovated diner. While my experience was good, I must admit that I do not agree with how the restaurant is responding to those who are just sharing their thoughts and opinions. In Yelp. We have a right to our opinion and an opinion is subjective to the person reviewing. A legal threat is a bit much and for Yelp to provide a warning is concerning. Will definitely factor in my return.

In my opinion, this place is one of the BEST places to eat in Tampa! The food is amazing! On our recent visit, we ordered the whole duck along with soup dumplings, it was so delicious. Our server was awesome and the GM Spencer was top notch. We’ll definitely be back.

Hale's is our go to for more upscale dining. We always have a great meal and last night did not disappoint. Our guests loved the experience, and as normal we did too. Looking forward to our next chance to enjoy a meal at Hale's.

This was our second visit and this time was also very pleasant. Pork bellies, gator and squid were the star dishes. The service, as always, was on point. Drink variety is impressive.

Soup dumplings had no soup but good flavour. Eggplant was undercooked but good flavour. Lamb with cumin noodles texture not pleasing but good flavour. Lychee martini was delightful. Other martini which I forget the name of was not great. Overall not as good as we hoped particularly for the price point.
