Our owner, Chef Richard Hales a four generation Tampa family since 1954, is back in his hometown of Tampa after 25 years away mastering Asian cuisine, opening award winning restaurants and appearing on the Food Network; beloved by the likes of Guy Fieri. Our seasonal menu features Asian techniques using the fi nest ingredients and availability of locally sourced produces. Chef Hales’ invites you to experience eclectic ambiance, elevated service and his version of Chinese cuisine.

First thing I want to say is the service here was amazing! Very professional and personal. The food was good. I prefer very traditional asian food but the chef's take on asian cuisine was very interesting.

Love this place. Fried chicken, beef short ribs are delicious. Service on point. Chef Hale is hands on and his wife’s playlist is always dope.

As ALWAYS the service and food was spot on! We love that Chef Hale always comes to greet us at our table and the entire staff works as a team! The food is definitely always delicious!

Overpriced for the portion sizes we received. Great vibe though. Many of the flavors on the different dishes that we ordered were similar. The rabbit was very good but not for the amount we paid. So so. Not in a rush to return.

Zoe was our server and she was AMAZING! The food was incredible as usual. We started with spicy pork bao buns and a sesame pancake. That was our pre-appetizer, then we got some egg rolls, dumplings and for the main, fried rice and smoked short rib. All of it was so delicious! We ended with a key lime pie with bobas and sesame sweet balls. :)

Jeremy- Spencer and Bailey killed it. They bring everything you could ask for in a dining experience. You must try the lamb wontons - the the tower of dumplings - the cocktails and mocktails are outstanding. The service was beyond excellent. I will be returning.

We ate at Hales this evening. Our reservation was on time and the staff was friendly and efficient. This is where the good part ends. The food was awful. Pork belly was dry, the eggroll was very greasy, the Dan Dan noodles were cold and the fried chicken was mostly fat and gristle and was so hot and spicy it was inedible. We told the manager and his reply was " I will tell the chef" and he walked away. Are all these great reviews just ringers? I think so.
