   What a surprise to find this little gem of Japanese umami! Wonderful service and excellent chef driven cuisine. It is in a totally random location and not what you would expect, but trust me, it’s delicious!

   This restaurant never disappoints. Chef Nobuo is a master at combining unusual ingredients & flavors in both the food and the cocktails. The tasting menu was simply spectacular!

   Cool vibe, great service, food was good but they were out of a lot of dishes. Very few gluten friendly options.

   Took my wife there on a date night and we loved it. The space is uniquely situated into a cool retro space that is quiet and intimate. The cocktail offerings are superb (had the Japanese Moss) and mixologist crafted. Every plate we tried was perfect for sharing between two. The sashimi spoons reign supreme (had the grapefruit avocado & ceviche), but we liked them all (shishito peppers, sunomono, soft shell crab & rice noodles, and salmon). We will absolutely be coming back soon.

   Our experience was outstanding! The food and bar ambiance was spectacular. Small bites and shareable items. Great craft cocktails! The bartender was incredible and Christopher our server was top notch and very knowledgeable. We will def go back!

   Hai Noon always delivers an exceptional service and vibe when we dine here. He come about once a month and the food never disappoints. The staff is very well educated and knows their stuff! The small portions are great

   We've now gone to Hai Noon twice. Both experiences were excellent. The food is mostly Japanese tapas-style and VERY tasty. The atmosphere is very casual with a 70ish decor. The two front staff (Matt & Arizona) are super friendly and helpful. Given the food quality, it surprises me that Hai Noon isn't busier. For both of our visits (mid-week), there were few other diners, and the sound level was very low. The location (in a low-price motel, but a very short distance from Old Town Scottsdale) and almost no signage on the street ensure this spot qualifies as a real HIDDEN gem. This is a great intimate date spot for those who appreciate Japanese cuisine, but don't want to deal with the "scene".

    When I'm in Phoenix, I dine here once a week. The menu is perfect and I order almost every item as I love the food ( small plates). The chef understand flavors and quality and presentation. He is a very caring perfectionist! The great bar staff go out of their way to create interesting cocktails too plus there is Japanese vodka, beer and whiskey. All great flavors too. Needless to state, we love it at Hai Noon ! JMR
