David runs the restaurant like well oiled machine. Service and food are impeccable. Never disappoints. this is one of the best restaurants in Seattle.

Very nice new dining option near Wallingford. Didn't try the tasting menu this time as we opted for the fresh pasta. It was excellent.

The food at Haerfest is amazing, but the dining room setup is terrible. The biggest problem is that the entrance to the dish room is right off the main dining area, so every time a server takes plates back to the kitchen -- the door swings open and the dining area is bathed in terrible florescent light and the noise of dishwashing! Beyond this -- from my seat I also had a view directly into the restrooms, also with terrible lighting. And all the tables are super close together, while there is a huge amount of wasted space at the entrance due to the door configuration. I realize it may sound like we got a bad table, but I assure you, this is not a 1 table problem.

Exceptional service and food - great menu, delicious starters (burrata!) and mains (handmade pasta), and an insane chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Parking can be tricky but street or surface/neighborhood is doable. Highly recommend.

We ordered the tasting menu after confirming they could accommodate a dietary restriction. The food was stellar. I’m still dreaming of the sugar snap peas, corn and chanterelle pasta, and the their focaccia. Our server and the staff were lovely. Definitely going back.

Amazing food & service. Went for our anniversary dinner and was the exact quiet ambience we wanted. We went with their Chef’s tasting menu, which has surprise dishes over a 4 course meal: 4 appetizers, 1 pasta, 1 protein entree and 1 dessert. We liked all of the dishes, except the salad. The staff and chef also took consideration to accommodate over dietary preferences into their tasting menu of the day. The kitchen is open and visible from dining space so you can see the level of preparations for each dish. They have a decent wine list and cocktail selection also. Definitely would recommend this place for a date night or anniversary celebration.

So impressed with this restaurant! The food, ambiance, and staff were all top tier. We got the chef’s tasting and were so pleased. Th pasta dishes were mouth watering.
