Ever since our great Aunt Bebe starting selling hamburgers and beer on her back porch during Prohibition, Hackney's has been making people happy!

Today we're famous for our big juicy Hackneyburgers on Hackney's Dark Rye® and our one-of-a-kind Hackney';s Original French Fried Onions®. Prohibition may be over, but our beer selling days are not. Hackney's has an ever-changing list of tap beers along with a full-service bar that can whip up any cocktail you can think of.

Taking into account that St. Patrick’s Day weekend is a busy time at Hackney’s there is NO excuse why waited over an hour for any food. While we were waiting, we saw other tables that were seated AFTER us get what appeared to be the exact same food we ordered. When our appetizer finally arrived, we expressed our displeasure with the service and the “manager” immediately offered to comp our meal. It was an unfortunate experience at one of our favorite restaurants.

Been coming to this restaurant for over 62 years! It hasn't just remained the same it has gotten better as the menu has expanded. Love the burgers and the onion loaf is to die for!

Food was so good. Had the new Smash Burger for lunch and it was delicious! The place is gearing up for St. Patrick's Day with shamrock decor and we had an Irish coffee after our meal to kick off the season! Our server was attentive and so nice and we noticed the great new tables and updated streamlined menus. We are regulars there so enjoying all the upgrades that have happened. Can't go wrong with lunch or dinner here. Plenty of space and tables to accomodate large groups. Also very kid friendly. For a fun, casual restaurant with friendly staff and great food Hackney's is the place. And don't for get to order the old classics like the onion loaf and the Hackney burger on dark rye!!

Was very excited to go there. The waitress was lovely. They did not have hamburger buns. Was quite surprised a hamburger place was out of buns. They had some excuse for why they did not have buns. How difficult would it be to run down to the local jewel and grab every bun they had. The place is in this disrepair. Overhead fixture was dangling from the ceiling as well as the fan. Food was average. Was so disappointed and sadly would never go back. I never give bad reviews. This is a 1st.
