Spicy margarita was a colour of red, completely burnt my mouth, ruined my taste buds. The food arrive cold, Mac n cheese was watery, the lamb tajine had no lamb, having a set menu on Saturday night was disappointing. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Reasonable priced menu but drinks were expensive we did arrive late and they were very accomdating and told us time we had to be out by. Fair enough, just glad they held our table. Our waiter was so lovely and really made us feel special. Dont know her name but she has curly fringe. So we asked to take off the service charge and we tipped her only. Food comes in waves and the menu is very good in variety. Every dish was spot on! The guys serving the food was really abrupt and loud. Not sure why the rush, hence why we tipped the waiter only.

The food was nice but not wow. The decor was lovely too. Our whole experience was let down by the service. We were there to celebrate my partner birthday so it was just 3 people, 2 adults and a baby. Once we were seated, we were forgotten about and waited ages for someone to take our order. As we were sat opposite the bar, the barman came over after 10/15mins and took our drinks order. Then after about 5mins someone came and took our food order. Now this other family came in and this point and were seated next to us. Someone came and took their order straight away. We waited a while and one of our starters came out but then about a few minutes, the family next to us’ food came out. They ordered the exact same starters as us (the bao buns) and we were still waiting for ours. At this point, our mood was ruined but as it was my partners birthday, we just tried to brush it off to enjoy the meal. Then about 10mins later our mains and the bao buns came out together. I won’t say what happened next as it was an accident by the waiter but didn’t help the evening mood. The food was nice, we ordered the jumbo prawns, the ribeye and a couple of sides. After we finished, I flagged someone down to get the bill as we were left sitting there forgotten again. We weren’t even asked if we wanted a dessert menu. I could have got something for my partner. Once the bill came (£139), we waited ages for someone to bring the card machine but instead, we got another bill, completely forgetting that we already have the bill and are waiting to pay. Again, everyone else was being seen to quickly. That was the first time, I’ve experienced awful service at a nice restaurant like that. Will not be going back at all. I expected a certain service for a fine dining experience and this just wasn’t it.

Initially we were pleased by the restaurants vibe and decor. As soon as we sat down we were asked if we would like water, which we said yes! We then didn’t receive this and had to ask again. We also did not receive a drinks menu, which we had to ask for. Upon looking through the food menu we were made aware that it was a set menu and we had 3 different option. some of our party is a vegetarian and didn’t not have any options in two of the courses, so of course we had to ask. The waitress had to speak to the manager to find out the vegetarian options, which turned out to be just one option for each course, and if you didn’t like artichokes or tofu you would be stuck! (and my friend unfortunately didn’t) Our first waitress was lovely, and was very keen to help. However another waiter started to serve us later on and he had a very back attitude and wasn’t polite. Upon receiving the food we got given the incorrect food and had to send it back to get the correct food. The overall service from start to finish was very slow and sloppy. We definitely wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return.
