My first visit to Habbibi Leeds was a mixed experience. Starting with the positives, the appetizers were very filling and came in generous portion sizes, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was lively, with a great vibe, and the DJ set a fantastic tone for the evening. The shisha terrace was another highlight, offering high-quality shisha in a comfortable setting—no complaints there. However, the main courses took an unusually long time to arrive, which was disappointing. While the gentleman with long hair who worked there provided excellent customer service and was very accommodating, the rest of the staff didn't match his level of attentiveness. It felt like we were being rushed into ordering, which detracted from the overall experience. The drinks were another letdown, with more ice than actual drink, which made them feel watered down and not worth the price. Additionally, the food menu lacked variety, leaving us with limited options to choose from. When our mains finally arrived, we wasn’t hungry anymore due to how long it took, so we decided to take them home, but surprisingly, we weren’t provided with a bag, meaning we had to carry the food separately—an inconvenience that could have been easily avoided. Overall, the shisha terrace was a very good vibe with a beautiful view, however the atmosphere might appeal to those looking for a one-time Instagram-worthy experience, I don’t think the overall experience justifies the cost. It's a place that seems more focused on aesthetics than providing a truly enjoyable dining experience.

The food is terrible. So is the service. The waiter who bought our food out had no idea what he was bringing out. Some of the dishes were not bought out. On complaining they were bought out towards the end. By that time we had nearly finished our meals. One member of our party didn’t get her meal with the rest of us. By the time she got her meal the rest had eaten. We were told they would adjust the bill. But when we received the bill we were charged for items we hadn’t ordered plus they had added service charge. On complaining it was sorted out. But it ruined the whole experience. I wouldn’t recommend it. It ruined our birthday celebrations

Myself and daughter have had the most wonderful day celebrating my birthday at Habbiba. We opted for the 3 course menu. The food was delicious and full of flavour. We were served by Emmanuel who was attentive, welcoming and the perfect host. Thank you for the most enjoyable afternoon. We will definately be returning.

Lovely setting. Menu is very limited, and the mains we received were more like pub food. Not a great wine selection, and the wine we had was very average.

The service and ambience of the restaurant was fantastic. However, the food/afternoon tea was mediocre. The kebab could be served warm instead of cold. We were disappointed as the Arabic tea was not available when we were very much looking forward to try it.

Lovely place starters were excellent but the main was disappointing, got a completely different dish to what I ordered and had to settle for this as would be additional wait and partners food would have gone cold if we had waited for the right dish to come. Both dishes were underwhelming in the end and we both were disappointed in this as we were looking forward to a really nice meal as a birthday treat. The manager did rectify on the bill in the end after offering free cocktails.

I went for my anniversary dinner. It was okay. I was recommended by a friend to go try the t bone steak and bone marrow starter the leeds branch didn't have it so was a bit disappointed. But what we ordered was delicious. I really enjoyed the calamari starter.

Great atmosphere food was to a decent standard till the steaks came out and I wasn’t keen at all on the ribeye allot of flesh on the meat unfortunately, the waiter was very rude so the manager JAZZ came along to assist us and deal with the situation and offered us discount to soften the bad experience we were having. Rude service will always give a negative outcome on the restaurant this was all addressed and will hopefully be resolved. I will definitely not be attending this restaurant again there’s better places out there.

Walked in and right off the bat, the server who eventually approached us after us being stood around with a reservation (which is not needed here due to how empty it always seems) was quite rude in how he spoke. “Can i help?” in a very condescending tone, looking at us as if it was not a public restaurant. Finally got seated and there were still no signs of professionalism, as if it was everyone’s first day on the job and nobody had any care for us. Now the food was terrible I would pay not to be served it ever again. Visually looked OKAY, but the taste? nothing. Beef in the burger was actual rubber. The chicken was tasteless. Not worth the money at all nor the terrible service which is far from worth the 12.5% service fee. I regret going and never again. I would avoid. The food was absolutely horrendous. Kids went home starving. On a more positive note, the tiny portion of chips we got for £5 were decent…but I would’ve been concerned if they were not.
