Habana Restaurant and Bar is a family owned and operated since 2001 that specializes in Caribbean cuisine. Serving lunch and dinner, this restaurant makes everything in house from scratch since day one. Habana Restaurant offers plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating (including our tropical Cabanas) and is good for families, small to large groups and other special occasions. Start with an appetizer like the Cuban nachos, papa rellena, croquettes, and empanadas. Feel like sharing? Get the tropical ceviche, sweet plantains (maduros) or the yucca fries. For the main course, try the world-famous Cuban sandwich, carne con pappa, chuleta fritas (fried pork chops), arroz con pollo, or the ropa vieja. Our full-service bar also serves the best mojitos and pina coladas in town along with a plethora of rum-based drinks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory visit at Habanas. Our server German was excellent - very friendly and made great recommendations. Delicious margaritas and the arroz con pollo was excellent- plenty for 4 people to share! The flan and tres leche rounded off the experience! So glad the weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy one of the cabanas. Highly recommend.

By far one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. To start off, they charge $35 for a Bistec meal, when in other Cuban restaurants, charge $19. The service was terrible — our waiter couldn’t even speak proper English and was very rude . It was a Sunday at 1pm and restaurant was completely dead. I honestly don’t know how the restaurant is still operating.

I have a dairy allergy and the restaurant was able to accommodate. The dude was delicious and very close to my grandmother’s cooking. Lechon Asado, fried yuka and plaintains maduro. Will definitely go back when in Austin

Empanadas were amazing. Plantain chips and guac were wow! Food was amazing, drinks were great and terrific service! Back patio was perfect!

It was an early birthday celebration with family in a cabana in the afternoon. The food was delicious (platano maduros were the best). We had the sampler platter which was awesome and a pretty stiff rum /mango drink. Waitress was nice and attentive. We all were very pleased with the whole experience!

Habana was amazing. We took a friend out who was visiting for Canada and we were all very impressed by the drinks and the food. Our waiter was also the bartender and gave us great advice on drinks and food. It is a bit pricy but overall it was a fantastic experience.

Our meals are always consistently terrific. The service and the server were exceptional last night. I can’t wait until the weather cools off so we can sit outside on one of their lovely patios or at a cabana. I definite must to try if you haven’t been there and make sure you try one of their infused vodka martinis

Our appetizer of plantains and guacamole was absolutely amazing! The picadillo and ropa viejo were cooked and seasoned deliciously. However, the pork chops were dry and a bit tough. Our server was sweet but said very little and disappeared on us twice, the second time leaving us to ask another server for the assistance we needed.
