It is always worth the trip and experience to Gyu-kaku. The staff are amazing! So friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was perfection as usual.

Corner table in back - server barley came over. Dirty plates sat there for hours. Had to ask for flame to be turned down as it got high and dangerous. Don't sit at a back corner table.

We had a wonderful dining experience celebrating both of my daughters' birthdays yesterday. The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly patient, friendly, and provided outstanding service. We were extremely pleased with our experience and look forward to returning in the future.

Typically a good place to visit and as a family we enjoy it. Haven’t visited in a while and today we had the worse experience with our initial waiter by the name Yo-yo. He did not smile, was unwelcoming, seemed very angry or frustrated about something and we were the punching bags. Didn’t provide child menu was irritated when we asked for a second menu as we only got 1 menu for a party of 3. Rushed to take our orders and was inpatient with any hesitation we had with placing our order. Most waiters make a suggestion or ask if we have any questions. He could not get away from us fast enough. Thankfully, the rest of the staff - Luis and Maiverick in particular - was great and continued serving us. We never saw Yo-yo again until the end of our meal and he was still not interested in coming to our table. I had to ask myself if there was some personal issue he had with my family because I otherwise did not understand it. We instead got our check by Harim (nice guy) who was listed as our waiter on our receipt but who we otherwise did not have any interaction with although he was servicing the other tables in our area. When we asked him, he said there was a change over which is why his name was on our check but I just think folks knew we were disappointed by the poor treatment from Yo-yo and tried to clean up his mess. Thank you rest of staff but it only takes one bad apple and today we got that one bad apple that has changed our mind entirely about how we feel about this place. We treat people as we expect to be treated - with kindness and respect - so anything less is unacceptable. Treating respectful patrons of your restaurant with disrespect does not make them want to return.

We had noticed this restaurant for years but never had the chance to try it until the Restaurant Week. Everything is so fantastic there that we’ll be back and gladly to pay the regular price!

They kept us waiting 20 minutes before they seated us even though we were on time for our reservation, but I gotta say the food is incredibly good. However, the prices have definitely gone up and the value is not as much there anymore. Still, excellent yakiniku cuisine and everyone should give it a try.

The food and service were great. The Restaurant Week menu is the real deal. A lot of really delicious choices. The waiter was helpful and gave us the nuts and bolts of barbecuing our meats and veggies. The spring rolls and salad were excellent. I must say, however, that the physical space is in need of a serious cleaning and update. If you are not put off by the shabby appearance of the space this is great meal.

First timer, service was excellent and food amazing! However my waiter left without letting us know and the second waiter didn’t introduce himself leaving us clueless, after the misunderstanding waiter was very attentive thank you again!

Yaki (grilling) niku (meats) has its origins in the Korean barbecue style commonly known as kalbi and bulkogi.
