It was okay. The waitress was nice but the host seemed irritated or PO’d at someone. I had put specific notes in my reservation to be away from people. Do you all just not read reservation notes? It’s annoying because last time we had the same issue and this time I chose to speak up. Also the hostess was kind of rude she was telling us that the whole party had to be present to order. I explained well my daughter is with a babysitter we don’t have time to wait so we will order for them as well. I like the food but portions could be bigger. I just feel like making a reservation is pointless. Also when I asked for some tables by the window and away from people, the hostess said “it’s not available”. I didn’t see a reserved sign or anything. I would’ve liked to be there because it seemed quiet. Please train your hostess. I think we should’ve been able to sit there if there was no reserved sign of anything. May come back if our requests an are honored and we aren’t greeted with a snarky hostess.

It was very good especially for our friends who are picky eaters. They were able to cook their food to how they like it! The service was ok. Our server didn’t have much of a personality. Drinks were yummy. I would come back for the food again!

We have been to Gyu-Kaku for many years but this time was absolutely horrible. Table was dirty, the food wasnt good at all, the service was bad and the noise level was extremely loud.
