This was not our first rodeo in Gyu Kaku, been there so many times. But last night left a bad taste in my mouth. We got there exactly 6:45 . Party of five , four of us were there but they won’t sit us coz their policy says we all needed to be there. Oh come on! When our fifth person got there, they were gonna sit us in a small table meant for 4 people and they just added a chair at one side. I complained about it being too small and they took us back to the reception area while one lady was looking for a bigger table but said no guarantee. Finally she came back and was telling us that there’s no available table for five. All these after we waited to be seated until all of us were there. So I had to say something, so they finally sat us in the same table supposedly for 4 people but the lady just moved the divider which gave us enough space ( and they could have done to start with!). Just poor reception and accommodation of their customers. Mind you there are 4 hostesses not doing anything. Took a long time for our first order of meat to come, the bibimbap and wonton cheese took a long time . We finally ended up taking it home. Sad because I love their food but now have to think hard if we are going back or not.

The AYCE was a good deal. We got the Supreme and worth the money. It was so difficult finding our waiter, or he was busy with couple tables around us. Drinks were slow to be refilled, some food orders not received, and was difficult to ask for extra chopstick/ napkins. Whenever I saw other server/ staff, they all avoided eye contact. In which made it difficult to enjoy our evening.

Absolutely the best food the customer service is great. I love it here. My favorite place of all Times. Food seasoned so perfectly. The friend garlic rice is the bomb. The cucumbers and. Japanese fried chicken are to die for. Yumm yumm

10/10 our waitress was very attentive and recommended a lot of good meat choices. The food was excellent from the flavor and tenderness of the meat, to the flavors of the kimchi and spicy cucumber. Will definitely be returning. Definitely get your moneys worth eating here, & the smores were such a simple yet great touch ! ❤️

The girls at the front desk were really rude, we've been going there for more then ten years and this is the first time we had experience this there. The waitress was nice and attentive and the food was good as always.
