Just like the bohemian travelers who inspired our name, Gypsy Kitchen’s alluring flavors aren’t bound by borders. Instead, our chefs go wherever the inspiration takes them, crafting deeply creative dishes that transport you to uncharted places around the Mediterranean and beyond. Friendly and attentive staff. They were willing to accommodate when we ended up needing an extra person at our reserved table.

Felt like the service here has really gone hill. Reservation was at 8:15 and didn’t have a drink until 9pm. Def disappointing because I used to like the spot.

Food was excellent and a great vibe. Loved the lacquered chicken. Server had a great personality but no one ever came around to refill water until we asked. Definitely worth a visit

Not what I expected. We already wrote a review. Service was sub par. It your looking for a IG photo shoot go for it but if your looking for good food with trained service don’t get you hopes up. Good luck.

Poor experience. Service was bad, they gave our table away before 15 minute grace period, tables beside us were super loud as well. The food dishes were over cooked - the tuna tartar was really basic and not worth the $25 rate whatsoever. Only positive here was the roof top

We enjoyed the labneh, ketfa, tomato salad (recommended by our server when we were trying to decide between the carrot salad and the tomato salad), and wine. Went for early dinner before Lincoln Theatre show. Service was terrific and our shared meal was nicely paced. Our only complaint — we were initially seated at a booth but the air was blowing which made that space uncomfortable. We were moved to a lovely table but noticed other customers at the booth(s) having the same issue we did before we moved tables.

The food, drinks and service were all top notch and as a person with a gluten allergy this was one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in DC

Gypsy Kitchen is super fun and yummy. We were there during Pride, so it was a different level of busy that eventually service got a little slow, but they were super nice and everything we ordered came out right. It was an awesome meal! (BTW, I'm a vegetarian and felt they had better options with this menu, if you want tapas.)
