   I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. The server seemed to have a very limited understanding of English, which made communication extremely difficult. I tried to explain multiple times that the food seemed burnt, but all I got in response was "Eh?" and eventually, "Ah… do you need the bill?" It felt like there was no effort to understand or resolve the issue. I still left a tip out of courtesy, but it’s clear that some proper service or language training is urgently needed. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

   The food here was absolutely delicious. With so many items on the menu, it was difficult to choose! Our servers were attentive and helpful. The menu has lots of kid-friendly items.The salmon & ikura don and the BBQ eel in the clay pot were big hits for the kids. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner at Guu with Garlic and will be back again.

   Portions have gotten smaller for some of the dishes - we ordered 2 desserts, waited 20 minutes never arrived so cancelled them. This trip was not up to their usual high standards

   One of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. Sashimi was so fresh. Everything was good. Friendly staff.
