When I arrived they had no recollection of my booking. Tried to place my party on a table that wasn't big enough to accommodate us and it was apparent that it would have been tight and uncomfortable. Waitress was dismissive from the beginning and neither her or the manager were that apologetic about it. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to my friends and family as it's clear that white and Asian patrons are their priority.

Everything 10/10 the guy (I forgot his name) with the footballer name was fantastic and very attentive. He truly made our experience at gusto . That’s why I will always come back .

Fantastic independent Italian restaurant where you get real value for money. Using fresh quality ingredients, excellent presentation and beautifully decorated restaurant which also has a cute little garden area! The attention to detail is second to none. I would come back again and again to try the whole menu!

GOOD FOOD TERRIBLE SERVICE I was looking for somewhere local to Wembley stadium. I had an overseas guest visiting who had tickets to a Wembley event. There were only 4 tables seated when we arrived. I had to ask could we order after 20 minutes of waiting. Whilst we were waiting for our starters another table (6 guests) were seated, orders taken and served. I chased our order. It took a total hour for our starters to arrive. Thankfully they were worth waiting for. Fresh crisp calamari, although unfortunately I was also given lemon mayonnaise despite advising I could not have any citrus. The cheesy garlic bread was also delicious. Very large portion, but you can imagine we were pretty hungry by this point. Meanwhile 2 other tables (2 guests and 10 guests) arrived and were served. I again chased our order. The table of 6 that arrived after us were served, had eaten and left before our main course arrived. The table of 2 and 10 also had their mains before us. By now were were running short of time and asked that our main course be brought as soon as possible, and not wait until we had finished our starters. That didn't happen. We had to ask again. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious, and would have been perfect with a sprinkling of parmesan, which we weren't offered. The lamb shank was not the best that I have had. The potatoes with which it was served were a little too watery, not the soft peaks that I was expecting. Although I had not been to Gusto before, the review online was positive, whilst warning about the slow service, which is why I allowed 2 hours. It took 2 1/2 hours, and that was with my questioning. It would have been far worse had I not done so. I can't imagine how bad it would be on a busy night. Perhaps that is why it was quiet on a Saturday night. When we went in I was impressed and hoped that I had found a new restaurant to regularly visit. Sadly it was my first and will be my last visit.

In first instance receptionist lady told us is nothing available, seemed we are not welcomed however we are on road trip and one of our stops was Liverpool and we saw great reviews on food for this place, in just 1 min tables actually were available on open table, so we booked and was so embarrassing for her when we came in back and actually was available. Good great, lovely ambiance but seemed short staff delay on food, didn’t seem to be mo service around the way waiters clearing tables, resetting tables with bear hands, very load inside, chef screaming near the tables, very close and all waiters bumbling in the chair passing by… I guess hospitality industry in general went downhill is all about making money and not anymore service quality.
