Gusto (pronounced Goo-sto) means tasty in Italian. Located in Toronto’s Corktown neighbourhood, Gusto 501 brings together the innovation of sister restaurant Gusto 101 and the soulful hospitality of Janet Zuccarini’s first restaurant, Trattoria Nervosa. Since opening our doors in 2020, Gusto 501 has been serving fresh takes on Italian fare in Toronto’s east end. Designed by award-winning architecture firm PARTISANS, Gusto 501’s space is punctuated by glowing terracotta walls and an oversized “garage door” façade that opens up to reveal a multi-level dining theatre.

Every level of Gusto 501 unfolds into a unique experience. Whatever you're craving, there's always a seat at the table for you - our famiglia.

Great authentic Italian food. Friendly atmosphere and both the pizzas and pastas were very good. Fresh ingredients, all homemade.

Awesome food, drinks ($1 ounce nice house wine), and service! Ambience was perfect too! Wish I could give 6 stars!! Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a great early dinner before going to a play. Our server Madison was terrific, engaging, anticipated our needs. We were fortunate to discover the Happy Hour menu which was exactly what we needed. We each had the truffle fried and the broccolini and shared a dessert. Perfect amount of food for an early dinner. Prices were great!

Food was great. Our server was beyond great. Made it into a great experience for us. It is a tad on the expensive side but we were celebrating something one off so i would be ok spending that kind of money. Maybe not every friday night though :)

We had wine, kale salad and pizza. Mushroom pizza was outstanding. Adi was our server and he takes service to the next level. After a terrible pre-Covid experience, last night made up for it. We’ll be back.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was so beautiful especially after it got dark, Great lighting inside. Perfect for a date. Pricing was not terrible, for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone of my friends.

My server was great. Suggested 2 great gluten-free option for me. He was also a joy. I was happy to see the server that served me the last time remembered me from a year ago. Would absolutely go again.

Absolutely outstanding. The service was incredible from the hostess to the waiters. The food was delicious. All round amazing evening. Will definitely let people know and will absolutely return. Thank you.

Not as tasty as was hyped to be! The pizza was not hot, the pasta sauce tasted like a perfume and the burgers were just not as advertised. Service and resto environment were great. Drinks were great. The Brussel sprout salad was the best dish on the table.
