Gusto (pronounced Goo-sto) means tasty in Italian. Located in Toronto’s Corktown neighbourhood, Gusto 501 brings together the innovation of sister restaurant Gusto 101 and the soulful hospitality of Janet Zuccarini’s first restaurant, Trattoria Nervosa. Since opening our doors in 2020, Gusto 501 has been serving fresh takes on Italian fare in Toronto’s east end. Designed by award-winning architecture firm PARTISANS, Gusto 501’s space is punctuated by glowing terracotta walls and an oversized “garage door” façade that opens up to reveal a multi-level dining theatre.

Every level of Gusto 501 unfolds into a unique experience. Whatever you're craving, there's always a seat at the table for you - our famiglia.

We had a lovely dining experience at Gusto 501. We sat at the bar on the rooftop and it was such a beautiful view while enjoying some delicious food! The service was amazing & I look forward to returning again soon!

didn’t give me the table I reserved for , I ask to be accommodated for it but nothing happened. Food came cold and 45 mins to come out. Bad experience

I had an overall amazing experience! My sis and I were running 30mins late and they were able to accommodate that.

We loved the pizza we ordered. We thought that the pasta could be better taste/price. The pasta seem under cooked as the texture when it’s inside the mouth is not just right. But the taste and creamy feeling is there. We would probably be back but we need to think of different option

Food was great and very accommodating for a large group. Open table made reserving our table very easy.

Everything was good. Expected more, but it’s ok. Some cocktail were absent(( And guys, I think it’s important to tell when you charge for service 20%!!! It’s not a problem to pay for service! The problem was you charged me 20% for the bill of 700$ and I left 170$ tips. The girl who served us was absolutely nice, but 300$ tip wasn’t too much? I pay tips fore the tips, isn’t strange? Maybe see you soon, you owe us a dinner which we pre paid 😉

Gusto 501 has been on our list of places to try for a while now and my only regret is that we didn’t try it sooner. It’s an instant add to our Toronto Top Five! The food was amazing - calamari was subtle and delicious, Caesar salad with dandelion greens and pancetta was a wonderful twist on a classic salad, and the honey drizzled pepperoni pizza was perfect! Above all else the service was outstanding - Tyler made us feel like regulars on our first night. We will most definitely be back. (With friends!!)
