Housed in the iconic Claremont Packing House, Gus’s is a tribute to Southern life, where family, tradition and celebration are of the utmost importance. Our team can stay to take care of set up, cleanup, and everything in between, working hard to ensure that you and your guests are able to sit back and enjoy a no-fuss gathering filled with fresh and delicious BBQ! Whether we are celebrating your big day or catering your office party we strive to bring a touch of Southern Hospitality to any event through a collaborative process that accommodates each event’s unique needs. I loved the cocktails and the ambiance. The catfish was amazing. The crunch on the fried chicken was great, but way too much salt. We could not finish it. The bbq meat was good, but they used way too much liquid smoke. Just keep it natural! The sides were all good. The greens, cornbread, Mac and cheese all good. The spinach artichoke dip was good loved the homemade chips.

Great experience using open table. Gus”s was able to accommodate us as we arrive much earlier than scheduled. Food was great as always. Service awesome!

When we arrived at Gus’s, I was asked if I wanted to sit indoors or outside. I was surprised because I chose an indoor table due to the excessive heat. I let the hostess know I chose an indoor table on Open Table specifically due to the weather. With attitude, she said there was NO indication of this. She then told me that I would not be seated on time because all of the tables were taken inside. After letting her know that we would have one less person, she said that would help. If I choose an indoor table on open table, can the restaurant see this? We eventually were sat indoors. The AC was not good! The poor workers! Get that remedied! The drinks were great! I ordered a hibiscus margarita. The food was on point. The sausages are still my favorite. Service was a bit slow to get refills and other more drinks. Otherwise… great night!
