Fresh off the back of a fantastic Austrian tasting just a few weeks ago, Lilly Heenan from Lo-Fi Wines will be taking over the Gum Bistro list for the night to showcase some of Austria's best. Lilly will be pouring new releases from Gut Oggau and Claus Preisinger by the glass and the Gum Bistro kitchen will be on the pans with a small menu of Austrian classics. Zweigelt, Blaufrankish, Grüner, Wiener Schnitzel, yes please!

Menu is interesting but limited. Quite pricey. Good selection of wines but again quite pricey. Have been twice - once sat inside which is intimate but quite noisy. Second time sat outside which is informal but nice atmosphere.

Lovely dinner at Gum. The service was outstanding, and good range of food and wine options. The fresh sourdough, potato pave and autumn pot pie were the highlights. The booth tables down the side of the restaurant are quite close together so felt like we could hear our neighbours conversation. But other than that, a great night out would recommend!

A return of dining out as something to look forward to. The wine list made the evening an occasion and look forward to doing it again

Great food- best was the anchovy infused oil for dipping the bread and butter the corbia dish. Great wine list. More casual service is more appealing to me but I know know not to most. Lovely evening all around

Interesting food, small serving sizes. We ordered four starters and two mains. While we enjoyed the food, my husband was still hungry at the end, which was a bit disappointing.
