Celebrating New Years Day Lunch. 4 of us. We all enjoyed our food and our waiter was very attentive and personable. We asked for things that weren’t on the menu for that day but nothing was a problem and he made it happen. Sorry, I can’t remember his name but we were the first ones to enter the restaurant. So great to see Gullifty's coming back. We been going for decades, back to a time when the restaurant was absolutely packed and you would have to wait to be seated. I was worried that the pandemic was going to be the end, but they're hanging in there. Smaller crowds right after the pandemic but our most recent visit was different. The place was jumping at 6:15 pm. I hope this means they're turning the corner. Gulllifty's is an institution that I hope will just keep going. Great food, great atmosphere, good prices. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to this restaurant before and it was always a solid choice for casual, standard American fare, but last night the food was sub-par at best. The Cubano sandwich was dry and bland, the ribs were dry and the mashed potatoes were served cold.

We have been patronizing Gulliftys for decades…and in this day and age isn’t it nice to have a place where you can just go, meet friends and family or just grab a bite with your spouse! It’s casual and consistent! The staff from the front of the house to the back always friendly and competent. (Also a constant) The food is always fresh and actually homemade down to the everything and classic yet interesting. There is something for everyone and it’s always a “yes” when a group gets together! Thank you Gulliftys for being YOU! Keep it going!:)

We ate at the bar. Bartender and manager were a great team, taking care of us. Food and drink options were strong. You could go high end and expensive or not. The environment was lively and fun.

Have not been to Gullifty’s since I moved out of the area but my sister was in town so I arranged a dinner on Friday, 11/1@6pm. Back in the day you couldn’t get in on a Friday without a wait. The bar had only 2 people sitting there so I was kind of shocked of this. We got seated and it went downhill from there. Drinks took forever and it was explained to us that there was only one bartender and he was backed up. I’m looking around and there was a party in the middle but it wasn’t a large party and there was hardly anyone eating in the restaurant. I was thinking to myself I’ll go behind the bar and make my own drink. Food was horrible. Only reason I gave it two stars is because the French onion soup was the only good thing. My sister got a salmon burger and it looked dry. My wife got the chicken parm and it had no cheese and a microwaveable entree looks better. my smash burger was small and served on an oversized bun that took any flavor away from the burger. Only good thing was our waiter Alex. I’m not blaming him for anything. He came to us stating issues with the drinks and did everything he could to keep us happy. Sadly this place lost what is used to be, and I probably won’t be here again.

What a gem! We were looking for a casual place to have dinner with our kids that wasn’t trendy and had a kids menu. Wow- did we get so much more! The atmosphere was casual and comfortable- plenty of space and booth seating which is a must for us. The service was exceptional and well paced with consideration to our kids. The staff treated every table like their own- bringing out food- filling drinks- we waited on nothing. And then there is the food. I was truly blown away. Everything we ordered - including our kids meals - were delicious and clearly made from scratch. Protein cooked perfectly - very generous portions. The desserts - also made in house- truly exceptional, rich and full of flavor. For the quality of both food and service I would expect to pay much more than we did- the modest price point is truly part of the charm. They simply do a great job and put great care into their product which is accessible and non-pretentious. We will be repeat customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
