   Beautiful restaurant! Great food, great ambience. Pricey but good. We did not have the steaks. We order salmon, salads and sides they were all delicious. Cookies and desserts are amazing. Worth going if you’re in downtown Houston area. Highly recommend!

   Honestly the experience was beautiful. The waitress was truly versed with the menu and everything was top tier!!! Will definitely do again.

   Food was great. Service was attentive. The only thing that was strange is that in the reservation notes, I had put that it was our 12 year anniversary and there was no mention or recognition of that by the staff. Maybe that’s how they do things, and that’s fine I guess, I’m just not sure why it’s a part of the reservation making process if they’re not going to do anything with it.

   The food quality for the price was disappointing. Our friend ordered a steak and it was overcooked, they took it back and the new steak they brought was blue. Mine was also overcooked. The sides were ok, the one standout item was the gnocchi. Ambiance and service were great as well!

   Service was really slow. They server told us that the kitchen tends to undercook thier steaks. We said we wanted our filet flight medium & the steaks came out rare, blue rare…

   We were recommended this by an influencer we follow on TikTok. They seemed over the moon and how good the food was. I found it to be very strange tasting. Everything was odd. An odd take on a classic dish let’s say. The butter for the rolls was not palatable to us. The mock tails were cute. A lot of work went into them. I can tell. My New York strip was so chewy. I couldn’t believe it. Not a high-quality cut at all. I can’t believe they called that prime but the way they cooked it and the glaze they use saved it big time. I chose the foie gras on top. Every restaurant does us a little bit different. I was told it would be spreadable. It really wasn’t. It seemed more like the intact organ. The main scallops were recommended, but they came out, smelling like fish and most likely undercooked And the taste and smell permeated throughout the risotto so we weren’t able to finish it and sent it back. The gnocchi was something that was supposed to be to die for. It tasted really weird. Apparently the weird taste was truffles, but it seemed out of place. The service was as you would expect of a high-end restaurant. The waiter was always around, but not around if you know what I mean. He did not interrupt us. The seating is pretty tight for the two tops. We are seated next to someone who took someone here on their first date. It was awkwardly loud to listen to. The cookies are as advertised. Best cookie I ever had. Our price tag for two ended up being 250+ tip.
