Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Has it really been five years already? Just like the deep roots of a strong tree, we’ve grown and flourished, and now it’s time to celebrate! Chef and Owner Troy Guard, Executive Chef Adam Vero, and a lineup of top Houston chefs--including Drake Leonards, Aaron Bludorn, Bobby Matos, and Blood Brothers BBQ--will each prepare a unique bite for this standing-room-only celebration. And it’s all for a great cause—a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Southern Smoke Foundation, which provides emergency relief funding and mental health support for food and beverage workers in need. This party has been half a decade in the making, now all we need is you!

At first we were seated next to a large group with loud children then moved to a table near the kitchen entrance so we had constant traffic back and forth with a lot of chatter between the wait staff. Not a five star experience. Waygu filet mignon was just Ok. We did have a excellent waiter. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Food was Phenomenal & our server Jessica was outstanding.. she helped me with hot water to warm my baby’s breast milk! She was very attentive and helpful! This was our second time here and we will most definitely be back for another date night!

Went here for a date night and it was amazing. Server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Ordered the grilled oysters and wagyu wontons both were delicious. Sides are family size, 4 people could have shared them. We had nice size portions to take home after eating. Price is worth experience and ambience, we will definitely return.

My husband and I dined here for our 16 year wedding anniversary. 10 out of 10 our experience was the best. Why was it the best? I’ll tell you Food- delicious, everything we ordered. We ordered grilled oysters, grilled shrimp, 8oz NY strip, MAC & cheese, and Brussels sprouts. My husband ordered a glass of Burgess Cabernet and I ordered a cocktail (I don’t remember the name). I do remember it was award winning. Ambiance- first thing we noticed was the beauty. Lobby was beautiful and they provided valet $16. Once you enter the restaurant, it’s uniquely designed with curves and calming colors. Service- everyone from the hostess, to the server was attentive and intentional. We received a handwritten card including well wishes for our anniversary from several staff members. We were offered tastings we didn’t order (delicious), bread, the food we did order, and an additional dessert to our dessert order. We left impressed and plan to dine again.

Absolutely beautiful, staff were all great and food was delicious. French 75 was the best I’ve ever had! Only minimal complaint was we were sat at a very small table I will request a table in a different area next time.
