Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Second time there and just like the first,the service was great and the food was just as good.Live tue ambience.Will be back sooner than later.

Ive been in the hospitality industry since I was 14. I’ve worked every level of service from dive bar to country club. Guard and grace had the best service I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the building every need was catered to before we could even think to ask. Our server assistant made wine recommendations before we even met our server showing that knowledge is trained down to all levels. We ordered the steak tartar and the raw east coast oysters as appetizers and they paced our meal so that we got to experience each individually. Which by the way, the steak tartar was phenomenal. It showcases three different mushrooms, prepared three different ways and was complex and comforting at the same time. Not only were they able to prepare my filet blue. They prepared it perfectly. We were lucky enough to be sat near the expo with their open kitchen and were able to appreciate just how flawless their service was. Johnathan our server heard it was my birthday and coordinated with the chef to provide me a dessert that was allergy friendly and the perfect cherry on top of a wonderful experience. I will absolutely be returning to see their new menu roll out.

We really enjoyed the experience last night! Everyone ate up all their food and it was delicious!! We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and had a blast! The service was also impeccable! A few times we had to request to be topped off for wine but other than that, everything was truly so perfect! We also were accommodated for all of our guests.. last minute !

Our server Joshua was so friendly! He was extremely attentive & made it a joy. TY! Food was outstanding and Joshua had lots of help keeping drinks & clearing smooth. Awesome job - great service at the front desk also.

Beautiful restaurant! Great food, great ambience. Pricey but good. We did not have the steaks. We order salmon, salads and sides they were all delicious. Cookies and desserts are amazing. Worth going if you’re in downtown Houston area. Highly recommend!

Honestly the experience was beautiful. The waitress was truly versed with the menu and everything was top tier!!! Will definitely do again.
