Named after our daughter Grace, along with the idea that a steakhouse can be graceful, whimsical, and elegant without being dark and moody. What started as a vision to keep the vibe light and airy while letting the outside in, has turned into an Award-winning design of which we couldn't be prouder.
This menu is truly meant to offer something for everyone, with often found steakhouse features as well as a plethora of seafood to truly highlight the best of the gulf and beyond. Prime, Dry Aged and local Wagyu cuts of beef in 4 to 40 oz. portions are available to satisfy any sized appetite. Innovative cocktails and wines from around the world top it all off -making Guard and Grace the place to be for happy hour, a couple's night out or your private event.
Our family, or Ohana, is a passionate group of culinary obsessives who strive to make memories that will last a lifetime. Houston is a special city that has stolen our hearts, and from the bottom of them, we thank you for joining us.

Has it really been five years already? Just like the deep roots of a strong tree, we’ve grown and flourished, and now it’s time to celebrate! Chef and Owner Troy Guard, Executive Chef Adam Vero, and a lineup of top Houston chefs--including Ford Fry, Drake Leonards, Aaron Bludorn and Blood Brothers BBQ--will each prepare a unique bite for this standing-room-only celebration. And it’s all for a great cause—a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Southern Smoke Foundation, which provides emergency relief funding and mental health support for food and beverage workers in need. This party has been half a decade in the making, now all we need is you!

Superb service, very knowledgeable waitstaff, food was cooked to perfection, exactly how we asked. The restaurant even went above and beyond by surprising my boyfriend with a personal birthday card signed by the entire Guard and Grace staff.

The Houston Team at the front area, are very warm and cheerful. They have a good variety of specialty drinks and Mocktails. They have a great array of delicious meals and side dishes, plated very well. I enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallops. Great potion sizes. Wrap it up with a mouth watering dessert. The Four of us had a remarkable time. Let them know if you are celebrating a special occasion. They'll have a little someting extra for you .We had an early dinning so be mindful of self-parking around there, it was a little challenging. So check the valet. Special Thanks to: Emily, Britt, K, Addison, Frank, John and Bruce!!!

Very nice place - food came out to quick and we felt rushed- ie mains came out before we finished starters Need Tatar was very fattie

Very underwhelmed. We had to wait a long time for our table even though we were in time for our reservation. The service was terrible! Our waiter did not greet us and even told us another waitress would be by. Then eventually he came back to take our order, but forgot to take drink orders. One person ordered a drink with their meal and got it and then others asked if they could have a drink too? Then he had the audacity to say “monkey see, monkey do”! This was a business lunch…so I was mortified. Won’t be back. It was all very messy for such a nice restaurant.
