Our first time here. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was excellent. Wine prices were very expensive

GROTTO is always a delectable and fulfilling culinary experience. From the moment you enter the front door, kindly greeted, then pleasantly seated. To our nice & knowledgeable server Marcus. To the always innovative Chef Chris. To the table magic from Mackinley. From the first sip of wine, to the last bite of food. A-mazingly Delicious!

Fantastic authentic Italian food. Generous portions at a very good price point. Cocktails and glasses of wine also reasonably priced. Will definitely return next time I’m in Thunderbay.

They had a Thursday special. Two can dine for $70.00 That included, choice of salad, entree and dessert!

Great food. Reasonably priced for what was delivered. Friendly and professional staff. A bit on the quiet side; but would absolutely return.

We had a fabulous time and dining experience, celebrating Julie's birthday!! Monique was a gracious hostess, with a great sense of humour! The food was superb and we will return!

We had a really nice meal and the service was great. The only disappointment was the dessert. We usually ask if desserts are made in-house and if we had, we would’ve skipped dessert. I always order tiramisu when it’s offered and it tasted like a coffee inspired cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the entrees, atmosphere, and service.
