Valet is available at the entrance of Grotto Downtown. Self-parking is also available at the Avenida North parking garage, directly across the street on Rusk, where we will validate up to 3 hours for free.

Grotto provided an intimate experience where the service demonstrated care. The food was delicious and the team was always willing to offer opinions or answer any questions. They played music in the background at an appropriate level to allow for a quiet yet not-too-quiet dinner.

The overall setup was very nice. The meatball appetizer was outstanding, and the pasta had a nice flavor as well. I wasn’t expecting to spend as much as I did so from a pricing standpoint, it was a bit of a letdown. Otherwise, the overall experience was one to remember.

Such a cool and fun place and the food was excellent! Simple portions, not excessive. Eggplant Parmesan was delicious!

Everything is ala carte. If you want bread you pay for it. Salad was excellent. My pasta dish was meh. Service was good. Not really authentic Italian food in my opinion.

Worst sommelier service. None of the wines matched the menu. Refused to put sound on for Super Bowl.

It’s so loud in there, which doesn’t match the vibe of the decor and menu. It was honestly hard to enjoy my meal. We were close to the open kitchen and there was a lot of understandable noise of cooking meals, but they should consider closing that off to help with the noise issues. The music was not super loud, but just added to the overall noise level. The metal chairs on concrete floors contributed, too. I’ve been to a few locations of Grotto and this location just doesn’t give the same vibe. That being said, the food and service were great.

My girlfriend and I just got engaged and we decided to go to Grotto and the experience was amazing. The waiters were all telling us congratulations which was thoughtful. We was even offered complimentary desert and champagne which was very nice. They made the day even more special than it already was and we really appreciate that. The food was 10/10, we got the pizza and some pasta and it was very fresh and the service was amazing and friendly. I can’t remember my servers name but he was nice. Thank you guys again for the experience.
