   We had a really good family dinner and everyone did an amazing job tonight. My wife’s birthday dinner and the kids recital night went off without a hitch. Thanks to all our club family!

   3 out of 4 steaks were overcooked. We sent one back to be recooked, but the other guests just ate them. Incorrectly steak temperature is a constant issue - even when the dining room is slow as it was. No one came back to check if the recooked steak was cooked properly - no manager or chef visit to the table even though both were visible. This was very disappointing. Staff is more concerned about coat check rules (which are ridiculous, especially when the dining room is typically cold) than serving edible food. This entire experience was, yet again, a disappointment. We haven’t dined at the club in a while and probably won’t do so again soon given this experience.

   You can’t get a better Filet anywhere. Food is always great and the Chef’s specials just don’t miss. This along with a beautiful view of Lake St Clair make this place an all around relaxing and enjoyable night out.

   1. Please, please, please remove the prepared salads from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving them. They are so cold that it makes them unenjoyable to eat. 2. The grilled branzino with gigandes beans was underwhelming. Not enough fish on the bone and the flavor was bland. I wouldn’t order it again. 3. The calamari appetizer and the Hummers were fantastic. 4. The room was very loud. 5. Our server was outstanding and a bright spot in what was otherwise a very average experience overall.

   Always good service and food, however the noise level is so high pretty much impossible to carry on a conversation.

   A very enjoyable dinner. I’d never had the beef short ribs before and they were outstanding. Huge portion, though; had to take the rest home. Wife had the crab-stuffed whitefish, which was her first time having that entree and she also very much enjoyed it. The only negative was the sparkling wine on tap, which apparently is a new “thing.” Wife and mother-in-law always order a Kir Royale for cocktails. This time, there was a noticeable difference: they were awful; we had to send them back. Our server said the club was trying this new method of Champagne on draft. No thanks, we won’t be ordering those like that anymore.

    First time trying the pasta bar and we really liked it. The chef was very accommodating with special requests. Our server, Faye, was fantastic. So happy to see Neil and his valet team back at the club.
