Hate having to ask for a happy hour menu. I get it, but I also get it brings people in to new places and hopefully they will come back which means more $$ in the servers pocket.

Had a great experience celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday. Food was great, wine was also really good. We had a phenomenal server. Overall an amazing experience.

Outstanding lunch in the bar on a Friday afternoon. My husband had the fish and he always raves about the crispness and delicious taste. Anna was our server and as always she was outstanding ensuring our food arrived on time and our drinks were full. Excellent from start to finish!

We celebrated our friend’s birthday today. The staff had our table ready and the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. This was everyone’s first time at Grindstone on the Monon and we all had a great experience. Our server, Robbie B did a fantastic job taking all of our orders. Most of us ordered the Hoosier Plate and Meatloaf..ultimate comfort food cravings satisfied! The side house salad was a good portion, fresh and chilled perfectly. It’s a great place for family or friends dinner meet up. Take a nice evening stroll on the Monon afterwards.

Our family met here for a family birthday. The children’s meals were hot and tasty. The meatloaf dinner was very filling comfort food. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said the chicken was moist and hot. Our server was attentive and pleasant.

I usually love eating here, and I come all the time. Today I sat down and waited for 10 minutes for my waiter to come and talk to us. We ordered our drinks and thankfully they came out fairly quick. After reviving our drinks we proceeded to waited 20-25 minutes for our server to come talk to us again and get our food order. I understand that on a Saturday night you will wait a little, and servers get busy. I love coming here, but only seeing our server to order drinks, order food, and get the bill was overall a bad experience.

I made a reservation weeks before and we had a guest with a food allergy. The restaurant said they would be fine to accommodate and then when it came time to order they refused. Food allergies aren’t a new thing and it was unfortunate we tried to plan ahead and it still was dismissed.
