While the location is beautiful, was very disappointed in the service at the venue. We received a confirmation text the day before our reservation, and when showed up and asked where we could check in for our reservation the women told us the restaurant closed on October 31st and the only meal they could provide from the was a hot dog or burger. We were very disappointed that we had to drive an hour to find we did not actually have a reservation.

Reserved a table for 6pm on a Saturday. There was a function being held in the dining room, so we were relegated to the bar. The staff was completely unaware they were having an event in the other room and were understaffed and unprepared (they said the management never tells them about functions beforehand, so they allow people to make reservations for tables that do not exist, and they are left to scramble when people show up). Ordered wings and a BLT, and after 45 minutes we left because the BLT never arrived, even after the waitress checked on it twice in 20 minutes.

Terrible. I made a reservation through Open Table for 6. We arrived and stood in the entry way for 3 minutes or so. Finally my husband had to approach the bar and ask for assistance and to let them know that we had a reservation. The waitress said, “oh we stop checking online reservations by 11/1.” We were there 10/29. She proceeded to push two tables together We sat for 15 minutes. No one spoke to us, no one offered drinks, no one brought us utensils or napkins. I am completely sympathetic if the place was so busy and everyone was running around. But they weren’t. No one said, “sorry - we are swamped I will be with you soon.” Waited over 15 minutes and we finally got up and left. A table of 3 got seated right next to us and they got served upon immediately sitting. Unfortunately I have to rate the food one star because we were never given the opportunity to eat anything.

We sat on the patio at Grill on the Hill. Being outdoors overlooking the golf course and Green Hill Park listening to a local band was a great way to end a late summer day. Eventually the striking orange harvest moon rose over the distant lights if the city. Beautiful! The food was pub fare, but thoughtfully prepared. Long, thick sweet potato fries were delicious. A cheeseburger with bacon cheese and other fixings was perfectly cooked and the chicken Parmesan sandwich was tender and delectable and the accompanying fries hot and well-seasoned. We were honestly surprised with the excellent food quality given the size of the restaurant. One recommendation would be to lower the volume of the band as it was difficult to hear people at your table speaking.

The menu was not what was posted online, so it was pretty much sandwiches. Very basic. The view was great though.

It was our first time here. We chose it because it looked nice and was halfway between our homes in CT and NH. The waitress was friendly and quick. Food was good!! We especially enjoyed the hummus appetizer. And it was a beautiful day to sit outside. Scenic view of the hills and the golf course. We will come back again next time we meet!

The view is beautiful. Service was terrible. Our waitress was not good so we had to ask another waitress for help. 3 out of 4 meals were good but one was a frozen chicken patty. Before COVID the menu had more than 2 entrees now it only has two. Mostly hand helds. Wont be going back.

We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly. We ended up in an outdoor area and were encouraged to take our time and stay to enjoy the fireworks later that evening. Perfect! Our server, Meg, was terrific. We both had the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Didn't care for the house-made potato chips but the sweet potato fries were outstanding. We'd definitely return to enjoy dinner on the deck on a nice evening.
