As Charleston's premier steakhouse, and member of the Great Steak Houses of North America, our menu is one of the few in the country that features 100% USDA Prime Beef. Located at the luxurious Market Pavilion Hotel in the heart of historic Charleston, we offer a dining experience like no other. All of our beef selections, including the filet mignon, are hand-selected and wet-aged 42 -50 days to ensure tender texture and unsurpassed flavor.

At Grill 225 we place a great deal of emphasis on seafood harvested from both local and International waters. Using only premium ingredients such as local sustainable seafood as well as exclusive premium domestic and international offerings.

Private Dining for up to 110 guests for indoor events.
Private gatherings for rooftop cocktail receptions and events up to 275 guests.

Dress Code:
For Men, smart business attire. Jackets are requested, but not required. Flip flops, T-Shirts, non collar shirts and baseball caps are not permitted.

Grill 225 will be featuring a special 3 course Pre Fixe menu on Christmas Eve for $140 per person. Grill 225 is offering a range of seating times beginning at 1pm. Grill 225 will not be offering the standard Grill 225 menu on 12/24/24. Reservations will have a 96 hour cancellation policy and must be secured with a credit card through our online process directly with Grill 225. After booking through OpenTable, you will receive an additional email asking to complete the online steps necessary to confirm your Christmas Eve reservation directly with Grill 225 at https://www.marketpavilion.com/grill225.cfm. All reservations must be confirmed within 4 hours of booking to avoid automatic cancellation. We look forward to serving you.

We love Grill 225 for a special occasion! The bar is nice and their cocktails are very good. Food is excellent and service is excellent! J B was very attentive! I recommend the veal chop!

Absolutely amazing from the beginning to em! This was only our second time here but the man at the front remembered us and made us feel very welcomed. Our waiter was beyond amazing and attentive. He even heard that we were celebrating the cheerleaders we had with us and gave them a very special surprise at the end. Not to mention the food omg best fillet mignon I have ever had! Highly recommend everything about this place! I wish I knew the staff’s names because they truly made our night amazing! Thank you!!

Jimmy our waiter made a bold boast, that his is the best restaurant in Charlestown! He may be right, its certainly one of the best we have visited. The service and food were outstanding, and the restaurant was comfortable. The only annoyance is that after I reserved, they emailed, texted and then called like every day to make sure we were coming, this after taking a credit card and threatening to charge me if we didn't show up. I'm pretty busy and I could have used without that bit of aggravation leading up to the visit.

This was our first time dining at Grill 225 and with the exception of the banana bread pudding desert, which was outstanding, we were disappointed in our entrees. The filet was not cooked to the ordered temperature and was somewhat tough. The veal was mediocre.
