Friendly and efficient service. The food arrived promptly, it was piping hot and the portions were very generous. Most of it was excellent, but the roast potatoes were a bit under done for my liking, as were the parsnips which were very difficult to cut and hard to chew. Next time I would ask them to leave off the parsnips. I had the trio of roasts and the meats were very good, especially the pork belly and chicken.

I will drink here again but not eat. The service is poor and my request for a jug of water was "forgotten" and then later my order of medium Shiraz was also "forgotten. Fish was mostly batter and was very greasy. Expensive for what you get!

We had a really lovely Sunday lunch for our anniversary! Was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately the only thing that let it down is there seemed to be a gathering and not enough seats so we were bumped into an awful lot by the people stood around (think it was a party?). Other than that it was a really lovely meal and the staff were all lovely!

Went 2 months ago and good food and portions. This time however disappointing with both food and portions. Service good Annoying when I had a lime and soda and had to ask for more lime as not enough added. They had the audacity to charge £1.20 extra. I did question it at the bill payment but they didn’t take it off. Will not be returning.

Very poor we've eaten at the Griffin's head a few times and it's always been excellent on this occasion we was very unhappy with the food and the price of food. it cost near £10 for a king prawn cocktail that had only 4 small prawns it was very unacceptable we also had the chicken scewer which was £8 and only had 4 little pieces of chicken. The staff were all lovely as usual but we traveld from chesterfield 20miles to meet family and we was all disappointed with he experience.

Great food and lovely menu to choose from. The price of soft drinks needs to be included on the menu to make dividing the bill before paying easier.
