We were here for Sunday lunch at 4.15pm. We were called before our booking to ask us if we would be ordering Beef, as they were running out. We arrived early and were able to swap our table to the one we preferred. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The kitchen had saved Beef for the four of us, but it was dry by the time we got to eat it. On the plus side we were able without any problems able to remove/replace food on the roast we couldn't eat, because of food dislikes. The place was very quiet as England were playing and there was a Marquee outside. This didn't matter as we were with friends and could talk without shouting at each other. I would advise booking for Sunday lunch at lunch time, so there is a good fresh choice of meat. We have eaten in the week at lunch time without any issues. The lunch menu has a good choice of food at reasonable prices.

The menu choice appeared good, the online advertisement sold the food as being something a little special. In reality it didn't deliver. Food was avg, edible but couldn't recommend. For quality price was high.

Great value and lovely food...and lots of it had Sunday lunch and pudding. Nothing to much trouble

Our first visit here with our elderly Mums was brilliant. My Mum is a wheelchair user and our table was situated in the most accessible space. We received excellent customer service. Staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We shall definitely be returning and highly recommend a visit.

We chose the lunch time menu which is £12 for a meal and drink (alcoholic or soft). The haloumi wrap with chips was lovely. My mum and sister had the fritata which was tasty but a bit too small as a main meal. The puddings were good. Service was excellent.

Our drinks order wasn't placed so i had to go to the bar and order myself. The soast beef was dry and tough and the Parsnips were undercooked. No one came to check our meals and didn't see staff to mention it. Plates weren't collected at end of meal or asked if we wanted desserts etc.

The veg we received was frozen veg and the carrots were hard and some peas were crinkly. The prawns were white not pink. I moved my spoon and the on the serviette was orange grease stains

3 adults for Sunday lunch. 12:45. Lovely Yorkshire puddings and vegetable options. Could have been a bit larger size portion and plate. 1 slice of beef and 1 slice of pork loin was the duo choice, that was more expensive than the regular. I can only assume you get 1 slice of either for the regular price. No option to relax with a drink beforehand. Maybe we should have arrived a little earlier than 10mins prior to booking! So we walked in, sat down and menu in hand in 30seconds, it would have been nice to be a bit more relaxed, and with extra drinks, money in their pocket :) Very pleasant staff, service 10/10
