The historic building dates back to 1682 - a full renaissance of the property was completed in 2018 from its previous luster as the once prominent Lavendar Hall - an icon of Bucks County's past. A beautiful outdoor setting surrounded by the vibrant colors of nature and delicious food, efficient and pleasant waitstaff and generous size “spirits”. I highly recommend the outside atmosphere as long as it lasts.

Our waitress Diana was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. The food is shears amazingly delicious. It’s our new go to place.

Requested change in seats after being seated in a “cafeteria style” booth next to the kitchen door. Moved outside where it was much better. Ambience outside was perfect. Bar service slow and inconsistent. Same drink before dinner was nothing like the second. Just be consistent. Service was slow. No fault of server. She was taking tables inside and out.

Heard they have a new chef and it shows. They menu is back to what really worked and food was great! Service is always great! Will be returning again for sure!

The patio is a beautiful place to have dinner. We particularly enjoyed the drinks and the generous mezze appetizer platter with whipped ricotta, hummus, veggies and fresh grilled pita. Service was also excellent.

Food was very good classics but with a twist, staff was very friendly and attentive, the actual restaurant is beautiful. Perfect place if you want the high end dining experiencebut in a more layed back atmosphere.

We have been here on numerous occasions. The specials are always intriguing and tasty. The outdoor patio is great but was rainy on our last visit. The service is always excellent. The waitstaff are very professional and efficient. Fine dining at a great price.

Our reservation was for 7:15pm and we arrived about 10 minutes before that. We saw that the valet parking lot in front of the restaurant was rather full but there was an overflow lot directly across the street so we opted to park there. Fortunately the street generally has very little traffic so there’s no problem crossing over. The hostess was very helpful in finding a table that suited us in the main dining room. The noise level was perhaps a bit above moderate as there is was little sound absorption, but we found the environment quite reasonable for our own “table talk.“ Our server was quite pleasant and took our table water and drink orders right away. When she came back with our drinks and asked if we wanted appetizer we ordered calamari and she went away to put that order into the kitchen. However, after about 45 minutes and no calamari our server came back and was wondering if we had already finished it and we’re waiting for our mains. Well, we weren’t. She seemed rather aghast at that development and immediately went back into the kitchen to see what was going on. She then came back out and and said that she would comp us with a free dessert for our excessive wait. Actually we weren’t very upset as we were enjoying the overall atmosphere and our own discussions. Yes, the calamari eventually came followed by our main course (smash-burger for me and grilled salmon for my wife) which we found to be very good. A bit later the manager/(owner?) came over and also apologized for our delayed appetizer and offered us again desserts, or a gift card, or whatever we’d like. We opted for the dessert and chose tiramisu which again was very good. Overall we found the ambience and bottom line service and the food to be very good and we will certainly be returning.
