Greta Solomon's, named after the owner Darlene’s late mother & grandfather is an intimate 26 seat French restaurant located in the heart of Leslieville, Toronto.

Our food menu is inspired by French Cuisine.

All of our dishes are made in house with the freshest ingredients procured from purveyors that are local, family run, Canadian, award winners.

At Greta Solomon’s, our guests feel that they have slipped away to a more leisurely pace, to enjoy our food, our drinks, our atmosphere and our company. You may feel that you have just discovered that little gem of a restaurant that all the locals know about in Paris. We will take you there without having to travel so far.

After we finished dining, the Chef came to our table to chat. She was extremely pleasant and friendly and inquisitive. A very nice person.

We enjoyed the experience. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was good. The restaurant was full which gave a nice vibe. I would have enjoyed a cooler restaurant as it was a very humid day and we opted to sit inside but it was very muggy as they had everything open to the street. In general it was good and we would try again on a cooler day or time of year.

Another fantastic night! Thank you to the entire team at Greta Solomon’s for an incredible meal. Food, service, ambiance were all outstanding.

It was our 4th time at this restaurant. We had never been disappointed before. Last night we did. We reserved at 6:15pm and specify on our reservation that it was for an Anniversary. Everything was fine to start, we got our drink, appetizer. Then we kept asking for more bread to finish our foie gras pate because our main dishes were not coming! At 7:45 we did not have our food ! Went to ask. They mentioned that the kitchen was small and everyone came at the same time ! But is it not why we make reservations ???? A couple beside us who arrive at same time was already done with their main dishes ! So i think we got forgotten. They said “ thank you for your patience” when we got our main dishes at 8pm . Did we have a choice ? We were not very happy. Our anniversary was not mentioned at any moment during the evening ( which normally restaurants do pay special attention to that) , when we left we felt that it was definitely not the best diner celebration we had . I doubt we will be back.

I really enjoyed the experience here. The back garden patio is a bit dark but still has a very good vibe to it. The duck was phemenonal and all the servers had hearts of gold. Would definitely recommended and go again
