Welcome to Greg Norman Australian Grille – an Australian heritage restaurant on the waterfront at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach, SC. Our innovative menu features exotic Australian fare and a wine list that has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for more than 15 years, consistently ranking us as Myrtle Beach’s premier steak and seafood restaurant. We didn’t invent waterfront dining. We only mastered it.

    We dined during 7/4 holiday week. We were seated quickly and our server and support staff were very good. The food for the price was just ok. My wedge salad and blue cheese dressing were watery and bland. Our calamari appetizer and lobster ravioli entree tasted right out of the freezer. The pork chop was good but all this with a few cocktails was about $400 and not worth that.

    The quality of service and the quality of food made for a great experience. Our server was absolutely amazing and the food and recommendations from our server were excellent. Definitely recommend trying this place to anyone that hasn't.

    This is amazing, the staff is attentive and always ready to answer all your questions. The food is amazing, always cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience, no need to look any further.

    In my opinion this is overpriced. I ordered the filet. It was not good at all. Dry, almost a sour flavor. My husband had the ribeye and it was pretty good. Service was great, but the food is average at best.

    My wife and I took our daughter and her husband out for her birthday dinner. She’s always wanted to go to Greg Norman's so off we were. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Had an indoor table close to the window which is what she wanted. Everything was going so well until our server, Paul, brought my wife’s main course, the salmon. We had already noted a severe allergy to soy products and were assured there would be no issue. This was not our first time here so we didn’t give it a second thought. Image our surprise when the dish was put in front of my wife and Paul told here they put the bourbon glaze on the side because it had soy in it. Not understanding why they would do this she asked for it to be removed. Paul took it but with a little bit of an attitude. At this point red flags were up and we wanted to have them check the rest of the meal. Paul said he checked and everything “should” be OK. Again with an attitude. Well “should” doesn’t work so we had him check the kitchen again and he assured us that all was well. Everyone at Greg Norman’s is typically so wonderful. Not sure what Paul’s issue was, maybe it just was a bad day. But I would be on notice if you have him as your server. Our meals themselves were typical for Greg Norman, awesome. My daughter had the filet, her husband the prime rib, and I had the pork chop. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. With the exception of the allergy issue this was the perfect meal. So to end this review on a positive note I stopped by the front desk when I went up front and spoke to the manager Nina. We had met her the week before and she is amazing. Honestly she didn't understand why the issue happened at all because the bourbon glaze is made in-house and doesn’t have soy in it. The whole thing made no sense. She came over to the table and apologized to my wife and daughter and promised that lines of communication would be improved. I guess we will find out when we go back next time.

    The service was excellent, our server was Cisco and he was very knowledgeable of the menu. The lobster tails were delicious but our ribeyes were overcooked and dry after requesting medium temperature. Would have give 5 stars if steaks were good.
