Sat in the area by the door, which made it quite noisy, but also didn't have staff attending to it much. Portion sizes were pretty poor, and most of the food was cold, which was disappointing especially given the price. They also put the bacon from the standard full breakfast onto the vegetarian breakfast. We told them, but no action was taken. Additionally when asking what a Spanish latte was, the waitress failed to mentioned it was an iced coffee. Normally grind is great, but they really missed the mark in lots of areas.

We waited 20 minutes from when we were seated, no one came to take our drinks order, offer water, anything - there were plenty staff, seemed to be avoiding eye contact. We ended up walking out :(

Love the food at Grind however, the service was very hit and miss. I waited at least 10 minutes and ended up having to ask for a drink. My friend was late but we ordered her drink and our food at the same time … the food turned up before her drink. Then when we’d finished our glasses were taken away but plates were left on our table. Such a shame as I do love Grind!

I've been to this grind multiple times and enjoyed it. However my trip on Sunday was a little lackluster. The dining hall has always been noisy, but this time it was hard to hold a conversation. The food taste and quality has seemed to have dipped since my last visits. We ate our food but quickly paid and left, as there wasn't any ambience to enjoy this time.

Last Sunday, I joined the Big Half Marathon that started in Tower Bridge and ended in Greenwich. My friends came to support and I was really looking forward to celebrating with them afterwards so I reserved a table at the Grind in advance. The endorphins and overall good vibes made us so excited to celebrate! When we entered the Grind, we immediately thought that the place was beautiful and spacious. We ordered our drinks and they came quickly but once we ordered our food, we were told it was going to take 45 minutes. This was at 2:00pm. While we were surprised it would take long, we didn't question and just took it as more time to enjoy each other's company with the table we reserved. Fast forward an hour later, our food still hadn't arrived. A little over an hour, it finally did for all 9 of us but not the other 2. An hour and 45 more minutes later, the meals of our other two friends still hadn't arrived. We were so upset by the service that they decided to cancel since they had to go. What would have been such a joyous occasion to celebrate turned into a sour one because it was past 4pm and two of our friends still hadn't had lunch.

I love Grind and come to this specific location all the time. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is great. The service is normally top there too! However, on this occasion the service was awful as it took over 90 minutes for our food to arrive. We were not informed of the kitchen delay at the point of ordering or at any point whilst waiting. We eventually flagged down a waiter after 60 minutes of waiting who didn’t apologise for the delay and told us it would be another 20 mins. The food was great when it did come, but we would have gone elsewhere if we’d known there was such a delay. The black apology was also so poor!

Waiting staff were great, and did a brilliant job at dealing with our party arriving at different times (sorry!) Just a little bit too loud music to be relaxing!

I recently visited Grind with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While everyone else received their food after a reasonable wait of around 30 minutes, my chicken burger never arrived. After realizing it had been forgotten, the manager came over and assured me it would be made as a priority. However, when my food finally arrived, I was given a cheeseburger instead of the chicken burger I had ordered. I was so hungry by this point that I just ate it, but it wasn’t what I wanted. Though the restaurant kindly removed the incorrect burger from the bill, the overall experience was ruined for me due to the mix-up and long wait. I hope this can be improved for future customers, as the rest of the food was enjoyable

The service was the best as always, however the food did let it down. We tried their summer menu however the Prawn Katsu was not great, the prawns were powdery of texture and the fries were really over done. This is the second time there for food and last time the chicken was under cooked and very pink inside. Over all would visit for coffee but definitely not the food. The team were welcoming!
